'19 CA QB JT Daniels (Georgia commit)

I’ve tried and tried to tell you to stop with the math/stats. They make your stance looks foolish.

Just say JG doesn’t have “it”. No feel in the pocket, gets sacked too much, fumbles too much and can’t get out of his head many times. That kind of talk doesn’t get made look foolish.

Andy Kelly
40 games
36 TDS
38 INTs

Tee Martin
38 games
32 TDs
16 INTs

JG
34 games
32 TDs
13 INTs

So unless you hate Andy Kelly and Tee as well then your math sucks again.

So really STFU about stats because when you mention them your stance looks foolish. Try the other angle I have been trying to teach you about. It has some validity.
With all due respect I see your stats as does all vol fans, but could you put the stats of the run game and RBs in there for each QB as well,I would love to see a comparison.you have to include all offensive stats as some years there are RBs that get the bulk of the load and some years they sometimes don’t. it’s unfair to compare QB stats without including RB stats also the rushing yards for QBs.just throwing that out there.🏈🍊

Yep waiver just got easier for a lot of those kids. Go ahead and bring That WR with ya JT
yeah, been some speculating on how that would work......my take is that yeah, they'd have to do something for the kids in programs not playing this season...surely they wouldn't let them lose eligibilty for something totally out of their control?

the problem is allowing the transfers, what kind of shape does that leave the program their leaving if everyone can leave?

2 things i thought about there...1. it would kinda work itself out, cause not every kid that enters the portal will have suitors....the teams looking to accept transfers will only be able to take kids based on what their current class and roster #'s will allow, so the # of transfers is already going to be limited to some degree....
2. you set it up where there's an age limit.... players that have completed RS soph or older can transfer w/out penalty. true fr/so, would have to take the penalty year. and anyone that stays at their current program, regardless of whether or not you entered the portal, keeps their year of eligibilty for hte next season.

you can tweak that however anyone wants, but there are options...could just say if you have usued 2 or more years of eligibility, you can trans fer w/out penalty.....that would give guys that are realistically able to be draft eligible after that 3rd year, a chance to play that 3rd year now vs. waiting....

the good news for us in that situation is if we did get JTD....he's playing for sure in 20.... :)

virtual reality seats. they're doing it for some baseball games now and i think even some NBA games? have been for a couple of seasons....they put a transmitter/camera or whatever in the seat you purchase, you put on the goggles and watch from your couch, but have full 360 degree view of what's going on in the stadium live.

everyone wins.
:)

Yeah... football was played very differently 20-30 years ago... so comparing stats apples to apples isn't going to be right, today's game is a much more pass happy game allowing for offenses to put up a lot more points, heck, Joe Burrow threw for 60 this year alone....

and burrow set a record in doing so. that's not the norm....

the biggest difference today vs. 30 years ago is the number of games played. that inflates a lot of the numbers now vs. then.

used to be 10/11 games was max, even w/a bowl. now 12+.....spread offenses in general really started to show up in the 90's...and it evolved in to what we saw happen in the early 00's....and now everything's a hybrid.......

Lol, for you neverJG types you had better buy you some tums because that's who is going to start the season out as our QB, if those tums don't work out try you some Pepto Bismol!
We will need it. No chance of beating OU or UG with him at QB. He is the only reason IU was not a blow out.
