I think even with JG we should go 8-4 with almost certain losses to FL, GA, Bama, and OU (all have too much talent). No reason to lose the other games though. Maybe we lose one we shouldnt and win one we shouldn't.

I'll give u JT is more talented but what makes u guys so sure he walks in and is able to pick up this offense? Pruitt has already shown how much he values being able to get in right play.

Think the reasoning is he can at least complete a swing pass and has more experience than a true freshman like Bailey.

JG will have several “Indiana” performances and will create at least a couple of losses to inferior teams. We were lucky in the comeback against Indiana. If he winds up being the starter this year , the Vols will regress record wise with the tough schedule we have.

If we don't drop those two easy wins at the beginning of the year, but those were by no means his fault (though he certainly has to shoulder some of the blame). No reason we can't win the 8 games we should win with him at QB.

So lucky. That game was lost and IU went brain dead in the 4th quarter.

I want to say 8-4 with JG, but head says "no", it would be 7-5 or 6-6. But I think CJP will pull the plug on the guy if he blows it like in the past. We need one of the three - HB, Maurer, Shrout to step up and be ready if JT does not come on board. If one does and CJP pulls the plug quick enough, 8 wins can happen.

But I would rather have JT and go win now.

Dude you need to rewatch some games, he missed SSSSOOOOO many easy touchdown completions to Callaway, DWA, and Jennings, and btw if we didn't have a down the field threat then why did Callaway avg. 21.2? As far as EG being undersized.... since when is a 200-205 pound back undersized? No he's not a bruiser but he certainly ain't Darren Sproles sized. Good try on your argument though.

You cannot assume the eight games we are favored in to be automatic wins. Other teams are out there trying to win against better opponents. Upsets happen every week.

Or we lose the big 4 and at least one more with JG. We definitely need another Good Qb to transfer in or have Bailey or Maurer step up.
