19 students, 3 adults dead in Texas elementary shooting.

Yeah ... Abbott's response has been so much better.

I loved the part where Abbott praised the police for having the courage to confront an active shooter ... It would have been even better if there had actually been a word of truth to what he was saying. LOL.
Thanks again for that Jimmy. I’ve already responded to you once on that call out but your information filter on stuff that doesn’t fit your bitching is undefeated.

Is your kid also mocked for being extremely poor and wearing cheap clothing?

No. Are his fellow teenagers a great source of info in regards to his income and disposition of that income?

I guess if you’re saving up to buy weapons so you can unleash evil, Nike shoes and new Levi’s aren’t high on his list of wants.

Seems unlikely that a young man supposedly living in poverty has 5-6k laying around.

Nope. Didn't say that.

You said that 6k is a lot of money for someone to steal and get away with.

It's not.

So it’s not a lot of money to steal and get away with but it’s also uncommon?

Sounds like we agree that it’s an unlikely scenario

As long as people are blaming inanimate objects and not looking for solutions this entire debate is pointless.

In nature you recognize a consistent theme. The weak will be culled from the herd by predators who are among them. You need to take steps to secure the ones who cannot defend themselves. This could include guards at schools or whatever the community decides. Let’s be honest, the community should be in charge of how their schools are protected, not some bureaucrat hundreds of miles away.
Robb Elementary had security. It didn’t stop a massacre.

The Uvalde school district had an extensive safety plan. 19 children were killed anyway.

Texas already “hardened” schools. It didn’t save Uvalde.

The statistical chances of someone committing larceny of $1k+ is in itself unlikely. The average citizen isn't a criminal.

Likewise, the statistical chances of someone being robbed of $1k+ is also low.

The typical theft sits at about a value of $1200 today. So, it's plausible that a criminal thief wouldn't take too long to amass a take of $6k. Combine this with an adolescent having no overhead/bills to pay, it's hardly impossible for an 18 year old to have $6k in this day ad age. Hell, my nephew is 14 and probably has more than that. Pretty sure he's not lifting cars after bedtime.

A guy that can murder 8 year olds and point blank range, I don’t find it unlikely he can save up 5k.

Because stability and work ethnic are common among people who murder children?

I’ve been told from the left for years it’s impossible to make it on such slave wages

Murdering kids is uncommon. So we’ve established he can do uncommon things.

Sure. The odds of 1 uncommon thing are low. But the odds of 2? That’s far less likely.

How many people want to kill innocent kids? 1 in 10k?

How often do people get away with stealing 6k? 1 in 100?

because evil people are willing to go to great lengths to accomplish their desires.

he wasn’t making it. He lived with a grandparent and stole her car.

Wanting to kill kids is extremely uncommon. Saving 6k while having no bills is not uncommonly difficult.

Maybe, just maybe, that's why we have a spectacularly tragic situation to talk about right now.

You’re nephew is probably not mocked for his poverty or being evicted from his home. He’s probably also not mentally unstable enough to want to kill children.

So the odds of getting away with 1 theft of 1,200 are probably slim. But we believe it’s likely he got away with 5 of them?

Seems very implausible that he stole the money

Seems very difficult. What do you think a fast food employee still in high school makes in a month after taxes?

Probably less than 1000k?
