Columbus never set foot on what is now the USA so how can you say he founded it?

I don’t think he ever set foot on the continent mainland.

So why is Jacob Alberato not getting media attention? This was the guy that killed the gunman. He was getting a haircut when his wife. A teacher at Robb elementary, texted him and said “Active shooter, I love you”. Alberato jumped up from his chair in the salon, and took off towards the school armed with only a shotgun. Alberato, a border patrol agent, entered the school when no one else would, cleared every room before reaching the gunman and shot and killed him with a shot to the head. Yet no one has heard of him. 🤔

You know what man? I’m going to treat you the same way you treat me on here. I got nothing for you anymore so here it is. That’s what “I” was taught back in the 5th grade.

Try and keep up with what you involve yourself in. If your comprehension is low, embrace it. This conversation started when I told someone that history lessons changed over the years. History is what they teach you and it’s not everything that happened. So don’t be naive thinking you know it all as you so desperately try to convince everyone. I’ll give you credit where it’s due and you know your history. However, you only know what you were taught from class and/or books. You, I, nor anyone else on this board was there the days leading up to the constitution. So claiming you “know” something you don’t only makes you look gullible when you understand that you only know what they wanted you to know.

Christopher Columbus was one of many who discovered the Americas, what we were taught wasn’t necessarily incorrect it is just a very over simplified version of what actually happened. History isn’t emphasized any longer at the elementary or middle school level like it used to be unfortunately.

Right. Everything they teach it’s is an oversimplified version. And therefore not completely truth nor completely false. But as we all know the details of an event is everything and can change how we view the complete truth. Basically what I’m saying is everything we think we know is a watered down version of the truth

UVALDE, Tx. — Both parents and the grandma of the Texas school shooter Salvador Ramos had criminal records, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and trying to pass off a fake check, The Post has learned.

His parents, Adriana Martinez and Salvador Ramos Sr., had their own brushes with the law more than a decade ago, according to Uvalde County Court records obtained by The Post.

His grandma Celia “Sally” Martinez Gonzales — who he shot in the face before carrying out the school shooting — was slapped with a misdemeanor in 1993, county records say.

Martinez was charged with writing a bad check for $22.62 to a general store in Uvalde on June 30, 2003, just around the time Ramos was born.

Records show she was struggling financially at the time, only taking in $500 a month from her job at Golden Dragon restaurant in Uvalde. She was also receiving $223 in public assistance and $269 in food stamps.

Martinez was living in an apartment that housed six people when she committed fraud, records show. She reported being single on the government documents, implying she likely had broken up with Ramos Sr. by then.

This was my point. They knew WHO killed him the moment the story broke. But the left leaning media wanted to make that POS famous first before giving the man that possibly saved many many more lives his credit. And bet, you won’t hear much more about him than you already have

Not the North American continent. I think he did land, at some point, in South America, but on one of his later voyages
