Good grief that's ridiculous. The FF were idealized when we learned US history in middle or HS. Were they ever called tax evading, rich, white, slave owners? They put together something great but they were hardly great people.

There are plenty of books full of their own words that won't get removed. I have a bunch and the effort to remove them would be like removing all guns from society

I said when this started TX DPS and Texas Rangers weren’t gonna pull any punches. Guess these local cops are finding out TXDPS won’t provide top cover for their f$&@ ups. No good ole boy network with 19 dead kids and 2 dead teachers.

Well I for one would rather have Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Hamilton, or Franklin for a friend than sleepy Joe, Granny Boxwine Pelosi, or Slimy Schumer any day of the week

Potential criminal indictments but most likely everyone gets canned and then get ready for the HUUUUUUGE civil lawsuit that will utterly bankrupt the city itself. State will take it in the tailpipe as well. That's what state is angling for now tho - its to ensure that culpability for mistakes lands on locals as much as possible.

Texas has some pretty low max’s on what you can sue the state and municipalities for.

Ex-CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin accused her former employer of ditching a live interview with a teacher on the heels of the 2018 Parkland, Florida school shooting to cover breaking news about then-President Trump when making a point about the media moving on too quickly after mass shootings.

Baldwin, who left CNN last year, penned a column for The Atlantic headlined "Don’t Let the Cameras Turn Away" that urged networks to continue covering the story of mass shootings.

Whatever. I was thought Christopher Columbus founded America. Did he? Or was it already occupied? Did he sail into St Augustine or down by Cocoa? St Augustine stakes the claim but learned that was BS. You go on thinking this history books weren’t altered. History don’t change but the stories told do.
