19 students, 3 adults dead in Texas elementary shooting.

You said blah blah blah and then this:

those of you that have never breached an outward-opening door against an armed threat, let me just say that you should try it at a local LaserTag provider before you try it against a real threat.
How many schools have you ever been to that had an outward opening door? I went to a lot of schools and never once did I witness a classroom door that opened out. There is a good reason that doors don't open out, want to guess why?

Overall I think you’re right but I have to admit that I attended at least two schools off the top of my head that I remember the exterior doors opening out. That being said, I’m old and school shootings weren’t a thing back then and those schools were already old to begin with.

Exterior doors open out, the interior doors open in.

13-year-old Driving Stolen Car Shot Dead by San Antonio, Texas, Police

A 13-year-old boy driving a stolen car was shot dead by a Texas police officer after cops say the teen rammed a patrol vehicle during a chase Friday.

The San Antonio Police Department said officers were responding to reports of shots fired in the 5100 block of War Cloud Street around 1:30 a.m. when they spotted a red car with three teenagers inside.

When the 13-year-old driver of the vehicle, which police said had been reported as stolen, saw cops, he backed up and T-boned a marked San Antonio police cruiser, according to the station KSAT.

According to the agency, one of the officers fired a single shot at the stolen car, striking the 13-year-old driver once in the abdomen.

A South Carolina man has been arrested on federal charges for making multiple threats to shoot up schools, prosecutors said.

Jonathan Trent Patterson, 22, of Belton, was arrested Thursday on a federal complaint for electronically transmitting an unspecified number of shooting threats targeting schools in Anderson County, according to a press release from U.S, Attorney’s Office for the District of South Carolina.

WYFF News 4 has reported several threats over the last two weeks, the most recent coming in on May 28, which prompted a message to be sent to parents of students attending Wren Middle School, Wren High School and Concrete Primary.

The kids that got shot here in Chattanooga were 13-15. They arrested one 15 year old and another one is still out there. They just get dropped off downtown on the weekends and stay til whenever. There’s a curfew but the cops said it takes so long to process one kid it’s not feasible to round them up. Plus imagine the media if they chased a kid and he got hit by a car all over a silly curfew violation.

Earlier in this thread someone said they would give up their AR-15 because they don’t need it in light of the recent school shooting. I responded with my opinion that the AR-15 is no more than the low lying fruit to Bidens ultimate goal of having ALL semi automatic weapons banned before he moved on to revolvers and then on to calibers. At the time it was only a strong opinion. Now it’s been confirmed in my eyes. This interview gives away his intent imo and I think it should be clear to everyone that he’s aiming at your 9mm handguns next. Start at 2 min if you want the meat only

He’s a lying sack of chit. That story is just as fabricated as CornPop

It’s not just in your eyes , the man has a long history of stating publicly that “we don’t need all those guns , all you need is a shotgun” . Don’t let the left convince you it’s just reasonable and rational , the intent is for us to become like the Europeans and other heavy handed governments that do not have the rights guaranteed like we do . You see it constantly.

Hinges

We also see the mounting death toll of innocents, whether mall shoppers, freeway drivers, college/.university students, churchgoers, or school children. As long as Republiars, gun maker lobbyists, and their cronies get their way, this mess will continue and increase. All hail the AR-15 and other military weapons allowed in civilian hands.

Regardless of what Biden says the 2-A absolutely IS absolute. In fact, if it’s intended to keep tyrannical government in check, we already gave up too much when we gave up automatic weapons. “To keep and bear arms” means anything you have, we can have. As long as law abiding citizens stay law abiding, our goal is to keep YOUR freedom as much as it is to keep ours. But I’m the meantime, we’re here to protect not only ourselves but you as well from the extremely occasional mad man that gives us all a bad name.

There's a lot of these mad men. I was in an Aldi store last year. A guy was strutting around with two Glocks mounted on hip holsters (I didn't even know such holsters existed for that type of gun), an ankle holster with what looked like a .38, and a back holster with a smaller pistol I couldn't identify, plus a .357 in a shoulder holster. His wife (I assume) was with him and was obviously VERY uncomfortable. His watch-out demeanor and strutting about, there are a fair number of rectal cavities like him in my rural area. This type of mentality is more widespread than is publicly admitted. And these multi-killing guns need to be unavailable for civilians, in my view. I grew used to seeing rifles mounted on racks in rear pickup windows. Never thought anything about them. I also grew seeing hunters on forest trails with revolvers in hip holsters while hiking or strolling on trails. Never thought anything about it, stopped and chatted with some of them from time to time. Never saw anybody with an assault weapon back then, and if I did today, I'd seek to leave immediately because those things aren't meant for regular hunting, they're just people killers and so is the person carrying it. That's my take on it, everyone else is welcome to their own take, just stay the hell away from me.

Yes, I know, you protoplasmic things hate any view that doesn't mesh 100% with your own. Then you resort to either childish insult and/or arguments that circumvent real issues. Thank you for illustrating that vividly.

I love reasonable and rational discussion with intelligent people who have different opinions other than my own , it’s how we learn . Me calling you an idiot isn’t childish , it’s just a reflection of your intellect when it comes to firearms . The real issue is your lack of knowledge but trying to sound edumacated with all that word salad you spout constantly.

People who peacock around armed to the nines like that are in serious need of community intervention. They are as bad for 2A as anyone.
