I like CJP’s philosophy on recruiting “ we will worry about the kids we get and not about the ones we don’t “ camp , don’t camp... Meh if the kid wants to play here then he will do what’s asked of him if he doesn’t then somebody else will .

Yes I don’t interact with the Nashville kids a lot anymore but I won’t sit around and watch you all attack the CHARACTER of a kid. That’s flat out garbage from adults. Especially when you are kicking flat out lies.

It's the internet isn't a good excuse. People attack a kids character based on rumors then get mad if someone calls them out for it. I question the character of the adults attacking this kid from their anonymous high horse. They shouldn't be mad though. It's the internet. It'll be okay.

Not to step on your rant here. Saban does require DB’s to camp if they’d dont then he “cools” on them. Unless Saban has seen him play in a game himself, that is the only way it is a truly commitable offer, Saban has to sign off.

I don't know a thing about the kid's character. I do know he's a good football player after seeing him multiple times last year. I think he would be a good player for us but, I also think Pruitt is going for the absolute best of the best. We are over thinking this right now in my honest opinion.

Saban has earned that right.... A kid turning down Saban is different than Pruitt at this stage. Fans will say it’s the same or we don’t want him if he thinks like that. But there are levels to coaching. Pruitt has to earn his stripes as a head coach

Agree.. The whole 'internet excuse' doesn't wash.. People that act like a**holes on the internet are probably just a**holes in life... Or cowards... Or both..

Not defending those folks and sure, people can choose to go back and forth but in many cases we’re not talking about the brightest bulbs and arguing (unless you have time to burn) is worthless.

In this situation it appears Woody doesn’t want to be a Vol. Some can’t accept that.

I agree 100%. I see this very similar to the whole DK is a quitter debacle. None of us has any idea what has been said and done behind the scenes with this young man. We don't know what his thought processes are or what he plans to do. I'm sure it is overwhelming trying to make this kind of decision. I wish we could be more respectful of these kids and the weight of what they are dealing with. Just say, "I hope he camps but if he doesn't, I wish him well wherever he ends up." I don't see why we feel that attacking a kids character when we have never met or interacted with them is a good idea.

I am seriously just messing with you..the kid either just doesn't want to Vol, or he thinks he is too good to do what is asked. I don't really care because I think kids of his ilk will be begging to get a shot to play for Pruitt before too long. The guy knows his business.

It sure does sound like it, the way you said it. I'm not attacking the kid. If he doesn't think he needs to do anything for the Vols, that he is too good to stoop to doung that for a commitable UT offer, then that is his prerogative. I'm sure there are other talented kids that would, and I really think they will down the road.

If none of this is the case, and he just doesn't care about playing for UT and wants to go somewhere else, then so be it.
