2. Remove officers who have violent records (like the pos in Floyd's case); and,
3. Make anger management counseling/training mandatory for officers.
These are only a few things that could be done that's not "curling up in the fetal position".

Of course, there's the similar thought for potential arrestees:

1. Better training in many things - life skills, conduct, etc
2. Remove from society offenders especially repeat offenders with violet histories (like the POS Floyd)
3. Make anger management counseling and lessons in general civility mandatory for some people not wearing police uniforms

One other item that I do think the police could do in the event of arrest to help people like good ole George (RIP) more fully understand their position would be cuffs on both hands and feet
