Here is my two cents worth, and since I haven’t been on VN very long, it might not even be worth that much.
I personally go to VN to find news or gossip about Tennessee basketball. If I am interested in recruiting, I go to a thread regarding that topic. If the thread is about Dylan Caldwell, then I expect or hope to read about his recruitment, not continuous arguments about Coach Barnes salary or how coach Martin was treated, or whatever.
Surely there are threads for those topics, and if not, then someone can surely create one.

All I am saying is that their is still talk of it. Teams are still talking with him about the reclass. I know in August he came out and said he would remain in the 2021 class but I would bet that when he is here on his OV he is probably talked to about the reclass

He's gonna continue getting pressed about it. Would be pretty tempting to come in for a year to play with the guards Tennessee is bringing in. I agree with BTO though. Think he stays out West, either Washington or Gonzaga.

Ehh, not sure I believe him this far out. I think that option will become more appealing during the spring as the reality that it puts him one year closer to being set for life. But we’ll see.

Has great size, plays with passion, looks like he can add more weight to his frame, seems to have a descent jump shot but not great.

Looks like the perfect prospect Barnes can develop into a solid player.

Me too but I was really starting to get into basketball Pearl’s first year, so that year and the following with Lofton will always have a soft spot in my heart. Those teams were so fun to watch!

When Barnes retires I hope we can get Pearl back with Lofton as an assistant coach.

For the hundredth time, Pearl will never coach at the University of Tennessee, again. He's lucky he gets to coach college basketball, at all, after his 3 year show cause, followed by his number one assistant coach (Chuck Person) and bag man going to prison. How Auburn and LSU doesn't get hammered by the NCAA is beyond me ? Both teams should be stripped of LSU's regular season SEC championship and Auburn's SEC tourney championship and Final 4 appearance from last year, imo. Either way, Pearl will never coach here again. Wanna bet ? Because I will, even if it takes 15 years to collect

I don't dislike Pearl, but I just don't think it will ever happen. If UT had his back, when the BBQ and lying went down, we probably could have kept him and he would just have gotten a slap on the wrist. But, UT didn't and now that ship has sailed, imo

He lied to the NCAA. He lied to his higher ups at UT. He's running a dirty program at Barn. He will not return to UT and there needs to be a petition to never hire him at UT.
