Theriot easily has the coolest name in baseball today. If I was him, I'd have broadcasters and PA guys pronounce it the way it looks.

Yeah, I thought Soriano should have been going, especially with his speed. We just got complacent.

Theriot is definitely stepping up. If he keeps it up, we will have a big battle in the IF.

i mean i can understand why they didnt, no need to risk it when there are no outs but he would have made it easily.

There's some offense. We finally get a win 12-4 over the Pad's. It's good to see that Marquis is pitching well. Lilly, Marquis, and Hill have been on lately. The bullpen, Zambrano, and most of the lineup has been cold.

Yeah, out for a week. Felix Pie finally got a chance today and did decent. He got his first hit, xtra base hit, rbi, run, and outfield assist. Sucks that it was in a loss.

This is being embarrassing. We can't close out a game. We can't give a pitcher more than 1 run of support. I can't believe that a lack of runs and quality bullpen is what is killing us right now. Those were supposed to be our strengths.

Watching Sweet Lou go ballistic makes me happy, regardless of what team he manages.

Cussing Rob Dibble, throwing 2nd base into centerfield, kicking dirt on the umps, he might be one of the best managers to watch when he throws fits.

As bad as we seem, we really could have a good year. The pieces are there. Marquis had a good game today and the offense finally came around.

Pie is doing very very well defensively and it is expected that he will have some struggles from the plate but Lou needs to give him some time and he will be great.

Until our bullpen gets better, it will be "Wait till next year".

I don't know how much better it can get. It was stacked this year so much that we had to send quite a few down to AAA.
