I really really really wish the Titans would have took Cutler instead of Young. How long will it take before Bud and Fisher admit that he was a bust and draft another QB? This guy is not an NFL QB, I wish him nothing but the best though.

I disagree with that. I will take my chances with an accurate passer over an overhyped scrambler any day. Young made some good plays that season, but things just seemed to go right for them to get into the playoffs. I mean how many times would that Giants defender make those kind of bonehead plays? Young cant handle criticism, he can't handle pressure, and he can't make an accurate pass to save his life. But, to his defense our WR's are world beaters by any means.there's an adverse side to that as well though. Remember, young's rookie year was a contract year for fisher. Alot of young's ability to run around that year was what made up for an inept offense and allowed the team to get to 8-8.
Had they drafted cutler instead, odds are the team gets 3-6 wins, fisher is fired (and ends up in dallas or somewhere) and the 2008 titans - rather than being a playoff contender - are in the second year of coach joe shmo's building process or the second year of adapting to his playing style: simply put it'd be a 2nd year coach and his not good team
Cutler would definitely be a better qb for the team right now, but it's kinda funny, cause had they drafted him 06 wouldnt have happened and this year's team wouldnt even be looking at the playoffs
He just can't get the timing down. Funny how our receivers knew where the ball was going to be and caught it for big YAC when Collins was in.

He was freakin' hurt. Is this a joke..? He's out 3-4 weeks with a pretty bad MCL sprain... it's not like he was faking his injury so he wouldn't have to go back in.
I must admit that I wanted Vince when they drafted him. I was wrong. Jay Cutler is head and shoulders above VY or Matt Lienart.
agree on all accounts.i'm talkin about the 06 8-8 season when they didnt make it to the playoffs though, not last year's 10-6 season. The season where they started off either 0-4 or 1-5 and it was an assured thing that adams was going to fire fisher before the season was even halfway over. They did have some luck then too, but i think that cutler's rookie year (although he's the better qb now) he would have only won 3-4 games and the team would have a new hc and be in shambles now...
i'm not trying to defend vy and cutler's definitely better this year; but i think that without young's rookie year performance (the 8-8 Rookie of the year one) the coaching staff isnt retained and they're coached by zorn or someone and among other things, they dont have their stout defense w/o schwartz and fisher....that year's play by young kept adams from firing fisher, which allowed the team to get to this point
that being said, at this point if they had cutler they'd be a much better team....given they had some better wideouts too
Yeah, ummmmm, he was asked to go back in the game after a quick 3 and out by his defense and ummmm, he told his coach no. Then after some prying and a little "private meeting" he went back in and got hurt. So basically he pouted like a spoiled media darling that he was designed to be, then got his ego stroked, then got injured on the next attempted drive. There ya go.
