Per Scout interview.

interesting

yes he is taking trips to UNC, ND, and UT. He said he will probably make a top 10 list soon.

Another instance of scout having something first and everyone still puts them down. We get it, you don't like scout. Just don't put them down when they actually have info.

Every squirrel finds it's nut...you have stock in scout.com or something...relax fella. I don't even pay for web sites. I'm kind of just blown away that somebody would be offended by my statement...it wasn't even malicious.

He should take his mission here so he can play here at the same time. Come on, sell it to the church as a good will thing. He might actually get some converts here.

[Next month Jake and his family will take unofficial trips to Notre Dame, Tennessee and North Carolina.

And Heaps could have his top-10 ready to announce as early as Monday. "I could do it tomorrow, during the week or on the weekend," he said. "But I'm not quite there yet."]

Well call me excited for being in Jake's top-10 for 2010.

For those jumping in late, he wants to commit before the fall high school season begins and possibly enroll in January.

meat market...you're right. Hell...I heard he was at the local middle school game checking out a qb...we're just waiting to see how puberty goes.

JUNIORS ARE HOT TARGETS

After winning Rivals.com's defensive most valuable player honors at the recent U.S. Army National Combine, defensive end Owamagbe Odighizuwa – a 6-3, 235-pounder from Portland Douglas – has become a wanted man.

With offers from Oregon and Oregon State already on the table, he added an offer from Tennessee late last week.

"That's my third offer, and it's a pretty big one," Odighizuwa said. "I think the Vols are a pretty good program traditionally, but they didn't have the greatest of seasons this year. I'm keeping all my options open to see which program is the best for me."

Another 2010 player shooting up the charts with college coaches is 6-5, 240-pound defensive end Blake Lueders, from Zionsville (Ind.) High. He received offers from Iowa and Purdue recently to go with those from Boston College, Indiana, North Carolina, Northwestern and Stanford.
