2011 Wimbledon (unofficial) Thread

It'll be odd not seeing any American females throughout the rest of Wimbledon

(Granted Sharapova, Lisicki, and Azarenka all reside in America)

Break for Nadal....ballgame
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Confirmed? Thought he was going to get an MRI in the morning (just after midnight our time) to see if anything was broken.

I'd like to see Mardy Fish or Andy Murray win the title.

On the women's side like Tsvetana Pironkova from Bulgaria.

I'll find the odds on tomic. I don't see him beating djoker though I like his game.

Prediction: once again, straight chalk in the semis. Or delpo and the other 3 if he comes back here. After that...snyone's game.

I don't really see it happening, either with the way Dkoke is playing right now. Too tall an order, but stranger things have happened.

I believe he was implying that because Rafa had broken serve, it was game over for DelPo

Confirmed that he beat Delpo? Yes. I'm sure he'll play tomorrow, even if he isn't at full strength.

I think Mardy Fish is playing with house money at this point.

Let's not overlook Paszek. She's a hot little number, as well. Better grab a look now, though. She's gonna go down like a lead balloon against Azarenka.

Thanks, KB :hi: that took some research, I'm sure. The odds on Tomic probably would have been astronomical. Not that he'll win, but it would be a fun ride if you actually had a hundred on it :)

Anyone heard if a Knoxville area theater is going to show the Men's Final in 3D? Or any theater around these parts?

I just slapped my hand on the table and called ballgame....on Fed's career. He's not winning another major.

And, to be clear, I'm not doing it with glee. I'm a Nadal guy, but I appreciate Fed. I realize how important he is to the game and I hope he plays for a couple more years. But the stage now belongs to the youngsters, and there is a whole slew of them.
