I'd imagine the Cards are out of it. They would have released Levi and Kolb if they were pursuing.

The Hutchinson signing was great. When was the last time they had a good FA signing, i.e. an in-demand player for good value? I always blamed it on being the Bud Adams show, which is why I didn't think Manning would consider. I'm still surprised.

Why would they have cut kolb before receiving any definite word from manning? All that would do is just leave them in the position of not having a QB were he to choose elsewhere.

That's kind of like saying the titans and broncos should have cut/traded Hasselbeck or Tebow by now if they were really in the running...

True. I didn't think that one through, but they do have to release him by tomorrow at 4 PM to save the $7M bonus money. I also didn't realize they already released Levi Brown.
