2012 Silly Season Discussion

Good for Aric. Jr found a nice replacement, too. Cole Whitt has a lot of potential.

Potential yes, but I don't like the fact they are rushing his development. He just finished his first full season in trucks this past year. I also don't think its wise to have two rookie drivers for the team next year.

David Ragan has landed at Front Row Motorsports in the #34 ride, announcement expected Monday.

If anyone is still wondering Kurt Busch is declaring for Sprint Cup points putting to rest the speculation of him running Nationwide full time.

I don't know. He will have a shot on RP tracks and road courses. Maybe even Bristol. Not sure he can score enough pts on the other tracks. Anything is possible though.

Kurt and Kyle will team up and split the full Nationwide schedule next year for KBM. Kyle will run 13-15 races and Kurt 18-20, including about half-dozen races with Phoenix, as well. Monster will sponsor the full season as well. Former RFR crew chief Mike Beam will lead the team.

Also Ryan Blaney will be running a limited Nationwide schedule for Tommy Baldwin Racing. I hear he really has some talent.

Elliott Sadler will be running the #33 in the Daytona 500 this year. Brendan Gaughan will run races 2 through 5 in the #33 as well.

Bill Elliott will run the #50 Wal-Mart Chevy in the July Daytona race for Turner Motorsports.

I think Stewart is gonna be in the 33 at Daytona. I could be wrong though.

Sorry, brain fart. Thought you were talking about nationwide. Cup cars and Gaughan don't go together.
