I read he ripped Tom German over his radio. I'm sure if he ever becomes a free agent again, he wouldn't have trouble finding a ride.
There is growing speculation that Carl Edwards is looking at his options, Gibbs is where most say he is showing interest. Also Montoya is rumored to be one of the drivers Red Bull would like to replace Khane, who is slated to replace Mark Martin, who is another driver Red Bull is considering, supposedly. Martin to the 4 car would keep things simple with little ripple effect, assuming Khane does indeed go to the 5 car. Speaking of Red Bull, Brian Vickers is also a so called free agent as well, and there is thought that he may not be happy staying. Would they bring back Scott "Lack Of" Speed?
Tom German pretty much has said they deserved it, that they recognize Busch is one of the top 5 drivers, and they will do all it takes to keep him.
One thing that may be hurting Penske is his penchant for doing everything in-house. They even have a saying - "it's NIH, we don't use it". NIH meaning not in-house. Most of the top teams will and do outsource items that are better than what they can make themselves.
Which is interesting because he has had success when he has used other equipment. I've never really understood why he can't be as successful with PRS as with his open wheel team.
I think they all know what they have.

Do you think Penske would be better off switching to Chevy, Ford or Toyota? I think he had a fallout with GM back when Rusty switched to Ford but that's been several years ago.
Also, I'm sure if the sponsorship were there he would like to have more than 2 cars, I wonder if he would ever consider teaming up with Rusty or someone else if they could bring a sponsor on board?
Me too. I don't think Edwards will go anywhere though. The grass isn't greener anywhere else as far as more competitve cars go. The only thing that might cause Edwards to move elsewhere is the greener money that might be offered.
