Virginia at home; at Xavier; at Wichita State; and the Battle of Atlantis, which has a good field.

Win one of those two road games. Please. Not that I think we'll be anywhere near the bubble next year, but still. If the committee values road wins again, let's get a good one or two.

It may not matter. The committee will just assign value to whatever fits their agenda. This year it was road wins. Next year it will be RPI, last 10 games, conference success, favorite color, etc.

Lmao he played really poorly? Dropped 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the semi's, if that's playing poorly I'll take it.

He did struggle in the final but that was simply because he was getting double and triple teamed by a 6'9" guy and nobody on DC was providing any help.

I made it to the last three quarters of the final. In the 2nd and 3rd quarter, his teammates looked like they weren't even trying to get him the ball. They just kept shooting and missing. They were already behind by 15-20 by the end of the first quarter though. I don't how it got to that point (besides the other team being better). An incoming Marquette player was the game's leading scorer.

Jajuan Johnson, very talented player from Memphis. Southwind was very balanced, 3 guys signed with D1 schools...dyer county had Hubbs. You could tell early Southwind's gamelan was double or even triple Hubbs and make someone else beat them, and nobody could.

Indeed. Heck I almost wonder if that answer was just a cop out. It didn't seem to me like they used any sort of consistent criteria. He just mentioned something that we struggled with... who knows if that was actually what they used.

Can't wait for this season, truly is make or break for Cuonzo. Hoping we stay injury free and can pull some upsets in B4A! GBO

I think it would be very useful if, either in this thread or a new thread, someone updated the first post on the first page each time a new game or date is confirmed. I think we did that last offseason.

Bingo. Southwind has 3 guys signed with D1 schools, that was a very well rounded team.

This obviously is not true. Backwards K said he lost to an athletically inferior team. Guess his team must have had all DI players and several 6'9" guys. He failed to take over the game against 3 guys with DI scholarship players. He can't be a very good player.:)

Newsflash:

Hubbs is a bust! :loco:

don't know all of them yet but already playing at WSU, xavier, is Georgetown a home game?? and here is the 2013 Atlantis field

2013
  • Kansas
  • Tennessee
  • USC
  • UTEP
  • Villanova
  • Xavier
  • Wake Forest
  • Michigan State

@GoodmanCBS: Battle 4 Atlantis field down in the Bahamas is: Kansas, Tennessee, Villanova, Xavier, Iowa, Wake, UTEP and USC.

Looks like its Iowa instead of Michigan State from the Big10.

Very good field, but honestly, very winnable. Kansas lost SO much, have to imagine they'll struggle early.

A Sticky with a running list of the opponents would be a great thread.

We won't be playing Georgetown next year. We will play home vs. Virginia, at Wichita State and home vs. Xavier I'm pretty sure. Add in the battle for Atlantis, I'm hoping we don't play any of the +300 teams, +200 teams are fine, do that and our SOS should be very good.

SOS means nothing. Just ask mtsu, they got in the NCAA by beating the crap out of podunk last year.
