Sorry but that "Tiger High" crap can no longer be used with us moving to the HIGHEST rated basketball conference in the country, the Big East next season. Even without Syracuse, WVU and ND it's still much stronger 1-10 than the SEC or any other conference is. Face it, we;'re now on a higher playing level than UT is in basketball.

Tiger High isn't born out of playing level. It's born out of the fact that it is primarily a commuter school attended by kids who didn't leave their parents' house.

Tiger high still has a losing record to UT in bball and football no matter what conference you are in. And in your earlier post about no one on this board knows Austin or what he is gonna do.... You were talking like you knew what is going on an what he is doing.....

I can't wait to see the Jonestown style reaction with all these tiger high fans when they realize what a bad idea joining the Big East with Josh Pastner as their coach is.
Pastner should be somewhat glad he's getting out of C-USA when he is. He's one more recruiting class by Tim Floyd and Tom Herrion from being in danger of finishing third. Fans will make excuses for him getting pounded by Louisville and Georgetown. They wouldn't understand getting topped by UTEP and Marshall.

We have more in TBA than your bball and football team crowds combined..... Who ever said Memphis good at basketball.. Oh and you can throw in that crowd at the field house as well. Ever since Calipari left there have not been anymore bought players... And memphis has been average with above average recruiting classes.... To be so good your record against Tennessee sure doesn't say much.

If another "BCS" conference invites UConn, the Huskies will bolt. Where would that leave the Big East? Same goes for UofL. If the Big 12 comes calling, the Cards are gone. The Big East is a sinking ship, because every member school with an FBS football program has one foot out the door. That includes Memphis. If the Big 12 invites you, you'd be foolish to stay where you are.

And, after Cuse, ND, and Pitt are officially out, the SEC will stack up 1-10 rather nicely with the Big East in MBB.
