Now just to play devils advocate (because Florida momentum seems to be undeniable), this is the type of recruitment that causes this. All it took was one pick, tweet, post from Jeff Borzelo and it appears the flood gates opened. Now Jeff is reliable, but he himself admitted that it's just a gut pick and no info on it. Info is so hard to come by it almost seems like everyone is dying for anything and so with the Florida momentum it almost seems to them like that's the leak, but I don't think so. There's no solid info on Gator boards, so it seems unlikely the gator staff knows of Looney's decision. The UF mods basically are reiterating other sites, once enough people say Florida appears to have momentum (based on another site saying this) now all of a sudden Florida has "momentum". Now he may very well chose Florida, but I don't think that's been leaked from anyone, I think you're just seeing guys running with stuff.

As I've said before, this is very reminiscent of the wiggins decision for anyone that followed it. You heard rumblings and momentum for about 4 different schools within 24 hours of the announcement. Nobody had any real idea where he was going, you just had a bunch of guess. In fact Wiggins crystal ball was 70% FSU, 19% UK, 11% KU

I don't think u can be a consistent top 25 coach without top 25 recruiting. It's still early and he has improved some each yr so he may get there soon.

Mark Few, Brad Stevens, Shaka Smart, and Gregg Marshall would all disagree.

I have a confident feeling today about landing. I am going to say Looney to UT. If I get anything I will let u all know. One think I do know is that CCM and staff took that visit about 2 weeks ago to meet with Looney but he met with the family for quite sometine as well.

No need to get up in arms, dude. Just posted the link from twitter this morning. Like I said last nite it's not a big deal if UF misses today bc Billy is playing with house money on this one. Just crazy how all of sudden UF goes from 3rd to landing him. Imo it's all just a smokescreen before he picks Duke. How many times have we read about a kid " going to shock the world" only to pick his favorite.
