Checked her twitter following.. Anastasia only but no coach or UT account. But she has 700+ and every other is a coach from somewhere!!! She has visited some on her own especially ole miss and miss. State. Insell and his AAU flight is on her so we got Anastasia out of that group! But no one ever heard of her ????

She's a good player munford is a very small town so that's why. About 20 mins or less from where I was born and raised. A lot of girls has been missed out own because especially during my days there was just no access to big time programs. Every1 was expected to go to community college even it the talents says otherwise. But the girl can ball and she plays with what I think our pasts girls on UT is missing. She's cocky and feels and play like she the best on the court. Her swagg compliments her game.

Just a freshmen then playing varsity. She's pretty good and very tough. Plays cocky with swagg. But a really great kid off the court

Small town bro but she's good. Usually coaches don't come recruit our way. But technology and aau is starting to change that. Its rare they recruit beyond memphis.

Not that this is startling news, but Olivia Nelson-Ododa has released a list of her "final 12". It includes Tennessee , along with the usual suspects:

Duke, Florida State, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA, UConn

Among my many failings, I have not yet learned how to copy from Twitter, so I can't provide a direct copy of her announcement. You'll just have to trust me that the list is accurate!

I want her on my team! That is what we are missing! We haven't had that "Swag" since the 07 and 08 teams! Those teams were filled with "I am the best and it ain't s**t you can do about it players! (Parker, Bobbit, Anosike, Hornbuckle, Auguste) I'm a fan!

From the UT football world Munford is the home of one of our best RBs ever. Johnnie Jones!!! Still a favorite of mine.:clapping:

add Baylor, Texas, perhaps Miss State and Kentucky you would have a complete list of schools top players not wanting the west coast would include.

After the year where Tn whiffed on the top/top players they desired - the question for her 10 listed schools - how many will/can afford to use one of their allotted visits.

For the young woman/ top player she is being overwhelmed with social media, visits, calls on a daily basis for now years. And has a cabinet full of offers.

remembering part of Holly's recent video - man coach, female coach, race, experience, teammates fit, teams overall reputation, size of crowds, distance from home, academics or major, campus atmosphere, and of course desire to Win and make a mark. (I forgot the parent who is needy and involved heavily in the decision)

put all those variables in a algorithm into a large mainframe or visit the Wizard of Oz and the choice she and each other player will make will be accurately determined.

Just looking at these 4 recruits that have UCONN and other top schools on their list. Where do you think they will go:

Ododa - South Carolina
Williams - UCONN
Smith - South Carolina
Grayson - no guess

I am hoping we can land Nicoletti and DeCosta

I have, or lol claim no inside knowledge, but my guesses are better than several on here that do

I think we need another post as well. I forgot all about Balogun, we could use her defense if nothing else lol. What if Nelson-Ododa, DeCosta, Nicoletti and Balogun all commit? We already have Massengill and Collins committed. Who would you say no to? Would you say no to someone? Six is a lot for one class. Maybe I'm getting too ahead of myself lol. I like all four that I mentioned above and would find it hard to say no to someone. I feel like we'll be good if Nelson-Ododa picks SC, but I'd rather have a post rotation of Green, KK, Collins, Nelson-Ododa and Harris. I'd be happy with 2 or 3 of the ladies above in bold to complete our 2018 class, I think DeCosta is a must because she could play the wing and stretch four if we have to go small, but hopefully we won't have to because Nelson-Ododa will pick TENNESSEE. Lol.:rock:

After last years class, I think it is more important to recruit to future rather than immediate needs. This may or may not result in a top 5 class.

i will be sad if we don't get decosta.they say she is best rebounder in 2018 class n she gets mad if she doesn't get every one.we need physical players on glass which we have lacked for awhile.

I am sure it is a typo, but Pat Summitt is the correct spelling...2 "t"s at the end of Summitt. It is on the court. Thanks for posting.

Considering TN style of play how good would TN be if something sidelines Russell? It
seems the team needs another really tall substitute on hand even if only for next
season after Russell graduates.

MR has proven to be a handful for opposing teams because she's an efficient offensive player who can score in a variety of ways, she's not prone to foul trouble, but is very good at drawing fouls. That's not the kind of player you can just replace with any ol' tall girl on the bench. Tennessee needs to recruit an elite post player to fill her shoes.

watching decosta n ruthie bolton-holyfield together,bolton is very high on her.the 1st thing she said was how great a defender n rebounder decosta is which i loved to hear.damn i will be upset if don't land her!!great defenders n rebounders is what we have lack for awhile.
