**2019 March Madness RF Thread**

Honestly, we played a poor 2nd half and got sloppy. 1st half we had 6 TOs, 2nd half we had 11 ending with 17 total. We've had 3 games with 17 TOs, Auburn (loss) Memphis (scored 102) and Arkansas (scored 106). To have that many TOs and score less than 85 points and still win...got kind of lucky.

Based on the way officiating has gone against us this year....we are due at least one game where we don’t commit any fouls for a whole game, we shoot 100 ft, and we get in the double bonus in the first 5 minutes of both halves. THEN, we may still be due so more. If I wasn’t so big of a fan I would just quit watching. They ruin games. On the Turner foul, the official closest to play show the sign for tip ball. The one across the court calls the foul. How are they both looking at the same shot while the third official has to watch EVERYTHING else. The official that is designated to that area should have been able to overrule the other.

I haven't seen them this year. Are they better than the Purdue team that we faced last year?
Once again Bone will be the x factor I,think,he is too quick for them however, I dont think its a game where we will get a huge lead then get lazy it should be a closer gsme the whole way which is honestly better for this team

My only worry about Purdue...they only had 2 games all season where they didn't shot at least 20 3 pointers.

Kentucky & Kansas are the only teams to beat us that didn't shoot at least 25 3 pointers in the games they won. We'll need to score 75 or more I think to beat Purdue, and hopefully hold them to 70 or less, got a 5 day break if we give Purdue the game we gave Kentucky at TBA we'll be in the Elite Eight...No excuses to look ahead of #3 Purdue, since they may be the only team to stop us from making a Final Four appearance (I don't trust Virginia)

UNC is the team that I think would be our biggest matchup mismatch. They’re length, speed and athleticism would be a huge problem.

If we are playing UNC then yeah itd be nice to win, but that means we are in a FF and even if we lose thats a good season

No doubt, none of us would be upset, but I’m just thinking more in terms of how teams actually matchup. For instance, I think we are one of a handful of teams that Matchup well with Duke (along with Zags and we saw us vs them). That’s why the Nova wins against UNC we’re so cool, Jay Wright’s teams were designed almost perfectly to face those long, lean teams, countering them with shooting and speed in transition.
