The sublime game helped usher college basketball into the spotlight after spending the winter lurking in the shadows the Super Bowl and the baseball steroids scandal.

I would say they’re one of the top teams in college basketball. They’re consistently a good team, and should be in the same breath as duke,unc, and Kentucky.

Bearden Center Drew Pember was offered a scholarship by Rob Lanier after a visit by Coach Barnes at Bearden. Pember is a 6'9 190 stretch 4 and he was elated to get an offer from UT. Great article in today's edition of the Knoxville News Sentinel and I am glad to see the staff going after local players on a more consistent basis than the previous UT coaching staffs have.

Blue bloods are teams where being outside the Top 10 is the exception. Final Four is a "good" season for blue bloods.
