True. I think we end up signing at least 4 in 2019 though. But not gonna be able to sign 4 in the fall.
Exactly, and those guys are all planning to be fall signees so thats why I say that. Ideally we are signed full in the fall and the staff continues to evaluate guys in case of attrition in the spring.
No, Fore has the green light, staff is simply content waiting on him. If he goes elsewhere I would guess they just ride with what theyve got unless someone comes available not currently available.Assuming Burns takes one of the two 2018 spots available, how are we looking for the other spot? We gonna mess around and miss on the grad transfer trying to get Lecque?
Drew Pember, PF, B Maze Elite
Not a ton is known about Pember on a national scale, but he showed very well for himself this weekend. At around 6-foot-8 he is an ideal stretch power forward, but in the same vein he isn't scared of contact. Pember is an above average athlete who can handle the ball some and create his own offense. If he ups his rebounding rate a little bit he could be a dynamic player. After a strong showing all weekend long it will be interesting what direction his recruitment goes in the rest of the summer.
Recruiting: Mercer, Samford, Austin Peay
From what Ive gathered hes much more mobile, hes a 3/4 at the next level with great length versus a 4/5 who can shoot but is undersized.
Yes I agree. From his highlights, he seems to have a nose for the ball on defense. Good amount of steals / blocks.
On offense it seems his game is primarily outside shots, with some limited post / driving ability.
Once he bulks up, he can add to his post game which would make him a very solid player.
