2020 Presidential Race

The right does their fair share of damage to it too. Patriot act, DHS, etc

I agree, i never thought bush was on the right, he and his dad were always globalists. But the gop congress allowed it. Either way the left blatantly hates the constitution and they will work in the next 4 years to destroy it.

Doesn't matter - do you think a tax increase the size of the one being proposed is stimulative? I doubt you'd find an economist anywhere that would make that argument.

Are you good spending your children's and grandchildren's money?

That's what we're doing right now.

Trump ran a $1 TRILLION deficit... last year.

Who pays for that, hmmm?

Who's $$$ are we spending?

Key Findings
  • Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden would enact a number of policies that would raise taxes on individuals with income above $400,000, including raising individual income, capital gains, and payroll taxes. Biden would also raise taxes on corporations by raising the corporate income tax rate and imposing a corporate minimum book tax.

Now reconcile this brilliance with Joe wanting to shut down the country and kill wages Albert.

My God your head really is filled with bunches of random liberal talking points isn’t it.

Lol how much are we running now sending checks and massive fed unemployment, and the democrats want suspended rent, mortgages, free college tuition, MCFA, etc. The simple solution stop all the idiotic government spending, not keep raising taxes.

1) that doesn't address the immediate economic impact of raising taxes when the economy is struggling which was Dancing's point
2) you are in Lala land if you think Biden is going to lower the deficit. Take a gander at his spending plans. His tax plan does not cover the new costs.

Link?

Here's a quicky

The Cost of the Trump and Biden Campaign Plans

Under our central estimate, we find President Donald Trump’s campaign plan would increase the debt by $4.95 trillion over ten years and former Vice President Biden’s plan would increase the debt by $5.60 trillion. Debt would rise from 98 percent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) today to 125 percent by 2030 under President Trump and 127 percent under Vice President Biden, compared to 109 percent under current law.

And from good ole CNN

Biden proposes $5 trillion in new spending, undaunted by Trump's massive deficits - CNNPolitics

Penn Wharton found that Biden's platform would raise $3.4 trillion in new tax revenue between fiscal 2021 and 2030 while increasing spending by $5.4 trillion. Almost 80% of the increase in taxes would hit the top 1% of earners.

5.4 in new spending vs 3.4 in new taxes
