Ikr. We need them more now than we ever did then. Hopefully the fbi can issue a traffic citation since they seem to be inept at doing anything else. Maybe the Texas highway patrol will write up the reckless driving ticket so the fbi can hand it off to the idiot dim driving the white SUV.
Don’t forget the Eagles flying over watch
It was. And in the video the black truck is steady and holding his line in his lane and the Ford Edge swerves into him. He should be cited for reckless driving as a minimum and be responsible for any damage to the truck.I believe it was a Biden staffer in the white SUV.
First female squadron or wing commander I believe also.
And I think warthog pilots get similar treatment that the A-1 pilots did in Nam. Their money is no good in an Army or Marine bar but they get to drink whatever they like.
The warthog was one of the last “pilot’s airplanes”. It is a stick and rudder airplane you have to fly it.
My brother flew those until the AF decided to pair him up with the Army, so he retired and flew another 20+ years for Delta. Pilots tend to have a thing about wanting to fly, and the AF still hasn't figured that out as the reason they have pilot retention problems.
It looked like a pretty rowdy bunch in Hickory today. I talked to a few who came from near Hilton Head and another couple from another S.C. town, and they hoped they could get home by 2 a.m. so they could get to work tomorrow morning.so DC and LA boarding up businesses ahead of the election - does anyone think they are concerned that Trump voters are going to smash things up?
There is no aircraft in development or planned that I’m aware of that can fly the A-10 mission. It’s a veritable dump truck for munitions, it’s got an amazing gun, it can fly low AND SLOW enough to do real BDA, and it is incredibly survivable. In the 1991 Gulf War I saw pictures of an A-10 return safely with one vertical stab missing, one engine shot out, and one wing shot away to the wing spar from the wingtip to around mid wing. I read an article on it where it got its pilot home, he landed it and walked away, and they actually rebuilt it and it flew again. Amazing airplane. It's not dead yet - despite the AF's attempts. I think the F-35 as a replacement will be a joke. My dad flew P-47s during WW2 and fighters until he retired. He always said the AF was neglecting the close air support role.
