Here I’ll show you this. And it actually supports what we’ve all been saying that the smaller states won’t agree to EC abolishment as opposed to your data not really supporting your claims.

No. Its 50 equal peer states that had to find a reason to give up the individual status and join the Republic. It’s working exactly as intended. Suck it TrebeckIt’s not a “non starter”, it’s small states with disproportionate power obviously refusing to yield that disproportionate power.
Also, if addressing it through legal means that aren’t forbidden in the constitution, how is that not “within the rules?”
Sounds like it is within the rules, you just don’t like the rules. You can’t be a selective constitutional absolutist dummy lol
Nah I’m standing pat. To paraphrase
“ I don’t have a problem with them contesting the result but my problem is why are they still contesting the result”
I’d be interested in seeing a study on a proportional EC vote but I’m not in favor of its abolishment. The smaller states voice would be drowned out by the high population states and that goes against the good will offered in getting them to join the Union.I’d honestly like to see the winner takes all done away with.
I've already stated that the recount doesn't matter.......Trump and Trumpers will still claim it was rigged.Meh... Garbage in. Garbage out.
I’ve made no claim. Go read and find it Cletus.Or - like I said - I’m fine with them investigating irregularities. I am not fine with Trump falsely claiming he won when the votes say otherwise. Nor am I fine with his cult following believing it when there has been no proof.
It’s dangerous for a sitting POTUS to actively and aggressively seek to undermine the faith in our election process. There are already too many conspiracies in this country. And way too much stupid. I mean hell, you can’t even comprehend what I’m saying when it’s right there in black and white.
If you want to claim he won, prove it.
“Soon”.......
No matter how they split it, each individual state retains the electorate count apportioned by the Constitution, so they're not gaining or losing influence.I don’t know about counties, why wouldn’t states just split up their counties to gain more influence? It could be congressional districts like I think ME and NE did I believe. Again, that’s open to gerrymandering though.
