2020 Presidential Race

You still not buying Biden? With Tulsi a pretty strong tix.
My money is shifting to Warren/Booker if Harris/Castro flames out, and that seems to be happening. I still don't think Biden makes it all the way, but if he does, Tulsi will be his VP. At least, that is the way I see it today, but there is a long way to go.

What will be really interesting is what the DNC will do should Biden lose Iowa and/or NH.

You think the VP pick is on stage already among the major POTUS contenders?

The Dems will have to have a minority or a woman on the ticket. If Biden wins, it will be a woman, therefore why I say Tulsi. Why else would she attack Harris? If Harris or Warren win, they will not run 2 women. That is why I'm going with Booker or Castro as VP, both minorities. As of today, I don't see anyone but those 3 (Biden, Warren, Harris) topping the ticket, but things could change.

I think that Tulsi is Biden's attack dog, and she has been promised VP in exchange.
Biden-Gabbard much better than Biden-Castro IMHO... not least regarding the optics.

( I know, sexist as he!!, but so what? Are we not still allowed to think of ourselves as red-blooded American males, or is that no longer PC? )

Idk... I think Tulsi is going to go after him in the fall when the the list of candidates gets smaller. There has been no point for her to yet, because everyone else has been. Kamala has been going unscathed and as prosecutor she is used to going on the attack, but is terrible on the defense. Tulsi had her shooked. She just sat their and pretty much took it and turned it back around and tried to attack Biden again.

I think Biden would take Harris, Gillibrand, and (lets get to work!) Klobuchar, over Tulsi. Tulsi is anti-war and he's not. He's a neolib corporate democrat and her views are far from it. Those other 3 are clones of Hilary and align with him.

My thoughts as well. If Biden can survive a Biden/ Gabbard ticket would be strong. Especially if Obama holds his nose and endorses this. Which I'm sure he would

Because she is her biggest threat atm. Biden is not a threat. This is what his 3 or 4th presidential run? Every time he speaks he goes down a percentage point. I don't like Trump's sophomoric name-calling, but sleeping-Joe is spot on. He's the Jeb! of the Democratic party. Low energy corporate stooge. Riding on the coattails of Obama will only take him so far.

Also everyone was attacking Biden, by her solid attack on Kamala it gave her so much attention. She was trending on Twitter, gained the 2nd most followers behind Yang, and she was the most searched candidate on Google (again). The MSM is going to not take her serious the same way they did Trump and will try to vilify her and dismiss her, and she'll rise to the top like Trump did. She didn't have a whole lot of name recognition going in, but every time that she speaks she gets peoples interest and respect from all over. There are Republicans, Independents, Libertarians that like her. She's not an outsider like Trump, but she's not apart of the establishment.

According to some um... sites, Harris campaign is attacking Tulsi and calling her a Russian Operative.

I am not sure what to make of this.. Is this a way of getting Tulsi out of the debates (defending Biden) or a way to make people turn on Harris.

This could also be example of outside forces "messing in our elections".

Jeb never had a double digit lead in the polls... it's not really an applicable comparison at all. I keep seeing posts on here which say that Biden won't get the nomination but that opinion is never supported by anything of substance.

I like Gabbard too... she just doesn't have the name recognition to be a contender right now. I think she would make a solid running mate though.

He started out that way and was leading it.

Not by double digits, he wasn't (read my post). That was also before there had been even one Republican Party Primary debate. Biden's current lead appears to be anywhere from 14-17 points.
That’s true but he was the front runner. I just don’t believe the Biden hype in the polls. He has the most name recognition for sure but I feel like in the fall when more people start actually tuning in they’ll see why he has dropped out in so many presidential races already. He will not be Trump.

A Gabbard/Trump debate would be interesting.

Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX) has announced that he won't run for reelection in 2020. I'm pretty sure that leaves Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) as the only black or hispanic Republican party member of Congress. That party just keeps on getting older and whiter.
