2020 Presidential Race

Joe Biden is as centrist as it gets.
Yeah, he's the guy. Run him as fast and as hard as you can.

Crash and burn because he is a terrible candidate?

I actually worry that he can’t keep up the pace . I don’t care that he’s a Dem candidate . listening to him talk I do worry about his overall health . May not be anything , may just be getting older , but I can’t help but think things will only get tougher for him .

If Warren,Sanders,Booker,Harris etc.. can not only win the nomination but win a general election then I will know the country I once loved is lost and no longer worth saving.

The reactions and current actions of the Dems to Trump's election have provided a dissenters roadmap of encouraged violent behavior.

If the Dems win in 2020 I sure hope they enjoy reaping what they have sown in dissent from the constitution supporting side that's well armed and not giving them up.

Lol

In the last 100+ years ( 5) incumbent presidents have failed to win a second term. Ford was never elected but failed to win a second term.
In our 243 years of history only (10) presidents have lost a bid for a second term.

The democrats know the only way to unseat Trump is a scandal ( one that actually sticks) or a failing economy, recession.

Four more years, four more years!

No like self entitled lazy ****s with BS degrees, I wouldn’t expect you to understand the long term goal of tariffs. Farmers have been getting subsidies from both parties for quite some time, that’s a terrible analogy.

If farmers have been getting subsidies from both parties then yours is as guilty as you claim the other one is.

I understand this about tariffs: They hurt American consumers. In other words all of us. If they are so good why delay them until after Christmas season? Oh yeah, in would make Trump's economic numbers for the last quarter of the year look bad and probably add fuel to the talk of recession. I"ll let you in on a secret. Those tariffs that were planned for December will never be implemented. Trump will let them fade away and be forgotten. He has begun to realize that China has dug their heels in and isn't going to play Trump ball. Jinping knows the Chinese people will accept the pain better than American do.

But Hong Kong is a very big problem, the goose that lays the golden eggs is upset and China doesn't know what to do without killing the goose.

Relatively speaking, Hong Kong isn’t as valuable to China economically as they used to be, so that’s why China has been more comfortable infringing on the handover treaty.

Oh, you under estimate the totality that is Hong Kong, particularly regarding money/investment by non Chinese entities and the example being set when it comes to Taiwan.

I agree that they want to be delicate. That’s why they haven’t simply invaded and resolved the situation. However, they feel comfortable with the added pressure because it’s simply not as large a portion of the GDP as it used to be.
