2020 Presidential Race

Some said the same about Trump (including me). He was at 1% in this poll and Jeb! was a shoe-in for the GOP. Things can change rapidly. Your posts about Kamala show this too. She had all the buzz in June and July until Tulsi got ahold of her in debate.
I could be wrong on this but didn’t Trump out of the gate at like 16%? And I ain’t knocking you. Support who you believe in. I voted Kascih last round.

Kasich and Rubio were the Republicans last time around that I didn't have as many issues with. Also, did you know John's Dad was a postman?

That was an interesting article. Crazy that the "magic number" has been consistent since 1850.

Also, this cracked me up: "By May 3, Trump was able to win Indiana by 16 percentage points and knock Cruz out of the race, even after trying on the morning of the primary to link Cruz’s father, Rafael, with Lee Harvey Oswald."

Jeb Bush surges to lead GOP pack in new 2016 poll

Love your feel good story referencing the greatest presidential rope-a-dope election of all time. It ain't happening though.

Joe Walsh is probably more competent than Trump and has more consistently conservative principles but he has a similar propensity for tweeting asinine comments.

All I know is that if Trump gets primaried, more chances for him to say idiotic sh*t and further weaken himself in the general election.

I don't know that there is any more capacity for outrage at his stupid statements though. It's like working at a hog farm--the nose just shuts down eventually.

People should just let the bots and minions have the Twitter freak show and talk about policy.

That's the problem. Dems have put so much time into "but Trump" they haven't really built a platform to campaign on. Instead, most of the candidates are trying to out-left each other and are throwing out stupid ideas. Honestly, a polished candidate with a moderate platform should be able to beat Trump fairly easily. The problem the left has is they don't have such a candidate. So we'll wait and see what 2020 brings.

Partly, that is the nature of primaries. But it is certainly a boon to "The Chosen One, King of Israel" that the one person running to the center (Biden) probably couldn't make a bullet list of his campaign platform without an advisor looking over his shoulder.

I agree that Democrats are trying to out left each other right now. That is pretty normal in primaries, Republicans try to out right each other, too. There are some center-Left Dems running though. And I know you don't like most of them, but there are tons of detailed policy plans floating around. It isn't all muh Trump.
