2020 Primaries

Not true. I have plenty of posts where I say that the Dems made a huge mistake running HRC in '16 and if Kasich had been the Republican nominee, then I probably would have voted for him.

I also think the Dems need to replace Pelosi as Speaker with someone more centrist and less controversial.

I do like Biden, although I think the Dems would have been better off with a younger candidate like Mayor Pete, who I voted for in the primary, or a female like Amy K.
Pelosi will be replaced in November.

What is it about Biden that you like?

The Wisconsin Primary…In Case Anyone Noticed

On Tuesday April 7th, the state of Wisconsin held their presidential primary. Results are not available at this time. While many states were postponing their primaries or runoffs in some states until later in the year, Wisconsin decided to go ahead with their’s. There were fits and starts to be sure.

Racist post is racist. I'm trying to figure out why 8% would have voted for Trump. Republicans will do NOTHING for minorities and don't even try to anymore.

Republicans give them jobs. Democrats give them increased unemployment checks, food stamps and Medicaid. Who’s really helping them more?

Noticed you didn't really deny my post. Hurts to know you voted for someone like that, doesn't it? Makes it hard to keep that fake moral high ground the right loves so much with Trump in charge. I love watching you people sell your souls for this POS.

It makes me wish it was election day again

Let's give bhunt the benefit of the doubt, maybe in his mind offering jobs to minorities instead of handouts is racist.
Let's debunk GOP myth of why blacks vote Democratic
"So evidently there’s something free that black folks are getting that no other group is getting. I’ve been checking my mailbox and looking out for the UPS truck, but I don’t seem to be getting this government swag bag that my peeps are getting."

Adding to this:

What party did MLK belong to?
Who was the party of Jim Crow and KKK?
What party passed the civil rights act?

Until their eyes are truly open they won’t understand how controlled they are.
Proposed by a Democratic President (JFK), introduced by a Democratic Congressman (Emmanuel Celler), and fully supported by a Democratic President (LBJ). If not for these Democrats, then there would have been no Civil Rights Act, but continue to think whatever let's you sleep better at night.

The left is so caught up in these “gotcha” moments rn that they can’t see the optics of what they’re actually saying. Like all this quote proves to me, is what we already know. That the Dems pander while doing absolutely nothing for minorities.

Lol, that article is hot garbage. I've posted the stats before, over 55% of blacks receive some sort of government assistance weather its section 8 housing, food assistance, tax breaks, or a variety of other welfare programs. Apparently you missed the history lesson of the Great Society of the 60's..

Food Assistance | USAGov
Housing Choice Voucher Program Section 8 | HUD.gov / U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
Census.gov
USDA Food and Nutrition Service | USDA-FNS

Everything data wise is found in the above websites.

Key point to remember is that even though over half of the black population receive benefits, White people still receive more even though its a lower % of total white people..I think it was like 17%. Think of it like crime, the more of one group the more crime they commit. Wait, that is a terrible analogy. I need to dig up my old post and have it on the ready for this inevitable yearly display of complete left wing ignorance.

As a minority I won't even address his ignorance but this is what the dem's have convinced themselves of. Some don't believe this idea and know it's a sham but other's have convinced themselves of this delusion. Some of it is white guilt, some of it is the belief of superiority without realizing it and some of it is having a different definition fairness.

I believe we can recognize America's racist and bigoted past while creating a message of fairness and inclusion for all Americans without pandering and creating divisiveness for votes. Liberalism is about an ideology and this idea that it's progressing black people or any race along toward equality is a false argument. It's about power, control and big government.

Joe Biden beats Bernie Sanders in the Alaska Democratic primary just days after he suspended his campaign as the state sees DOUBLE the turnout of 2016 with vote-by-mail system

  • Joe Biden won the Alaska Democrats' party-run presidential primary Saturday
Joe Biden has won the Alaska Democratic presidential primary, beating Sen. Bernie Sanders days after he suspended his campaign.

Biden beat Sanders Saturday 55.3% to 44.7%. A total of 19,759 votes were cast which was almost double the figure of 10,610 in 2016 when Sanders beat Hillary Clinton.

Biden gets 11 delegates and Sanders gets four. Sanders would have won more delegates but after ending his bid for the nomination last week, Sanders is no longer eligible to win delegates based on the statewide vote in primaries and caucuses, according to Democratic National Committee rules.

Overall, Biden has 1,228 delegates and Sanders has 918, according to the count by The Associated Press.

Just pay close attention to Biden’s veep choice because if he somehow winds up getting elected, after they are forced to invoke the 25th or when he wanders off into the woods at Camp David and dies of starvation or freezing the veep choice is actually going to complete the term.
