Agreed. I've never met him, but he seems like a genuinely decent and qualified person. I just don't understand the strategy for attacking him. They are going to get the Trump vote regardless. By attacking him they risk alienating republican voters who may not have voted for Trump, and neither of them can afford to lose any votes.

the two senators have positioned themselves as donald loyalists. They are attached to him, despite what some may think. Yes this is about the senate. American can not have Mitch McConnell hinder things for another 4 years.
