MORE 2023 RECRUITS PLAYING THIS WEEK!

Jada Harrison @ Westview high school plays Loretto with winner qualifier to state ! Saturday at 7:00 PM.

Mallory Collier 6’3” #47 2023 (Bartlett high) plays @ Rossview high school Saturday at 7:00 PM with winner qualifying for state tournament!

Jaloni Cambridge at Tennessee Tech (Cookville)
Thursday 3/4 @ 12:00 noon! If they win it’s Saturday at 11:00 AM

Angelica Velez ( All district Tournament and MVP) …(All Regional Tournament) at Tennessee Tech. Friday 3/4 at 1:30 and if they win! Play Saturday @ 4:00 PM !

Aalyah Rosario (All Regional tournament and MVP )… Same schedule as Velez .

There maybe other players that Tennessee is recruiting but these are the ones that I know about !

i KNOW who MY team just received a commit from. Where i was confused was why you replied to a post about Jada HARRISON with jasmine POWELL's stats. When i followed the bouncing ball back through the thread it went back to HARRISON. I am also confused on why POWELL would be brought up in a 2023 RECRUIT thread when there is a TRANSFER PORTAL thread.

Would hope I can find out how Mallory Collier played. She seems to be the big that likes us the most right now. I should know more about Jada Harrison since she is a West Tennessee player, but not that familiar so will be interested in her play as well. I really like Cambridge don't know if she likes Tennessee. Same for Rosario and Velez don't think we are in as great a standing as some other teams.

I know she had a finalist list which she changed and added us when Tennessee offered. Players don't very often change their finalist list so I think she might be someone who will give us a visit. She may already have. Booker had visited four times and I was still thinking this last visit was her first.

Summertown with a big upset of Loretto. Sets up a Sectional matchup between Westview vs Loretto. The two best teams in the whole state, regardless of classification, and one of them will be done after that game. Harrison vs Weathers.

Webb played this team 3 or 4 other times this year …. Beating them was never in question! Rosario is always getting fouls called against her because at 6’6” and a stout bodied player…. The referees just wait on anyone guarding her to bounce off of her or just flop down and they call a foul on her ! And of course the other teams defense is to push , grab , hold , every time she touches the ball ! That being said : This game her first three fouls before half time , she EARNED THEM ! Aggressively posting up trying to block shots ….. But Webb is use to playing without her and their team is athletically superior to all of their competitors. Velez is a POINT GUARD , running the offense is her focus ! I wish we could get her but I am aware of other higher ranked point guards . There two guard ( Bree Robinson, Canada ) is a good player and there go to player since Summer (Maryland verbal ) hasn’t played much in the last five or six games ? Titanna’s athletic play has moved her to more playing time getting rebounds and inside shots ! She needs a better offensive game outside or mid range but she is young and momma will help develop her ! JMO

Would love to have Rosario although just like there SEC officials show no love for big 6"6" post players when it comes to calling fouls. I really like Collier who may seem to be a little behind Rosario, but I think she has as much or more potential.

I was going to Rossview high school Sectional to see Collier play but time and gas prices gave a pause …. Going to state tournament in Murfreesboro where I was hoping to catch a look at her but she lost the game and out till next year ! Same with Imari Berry but I caught one of her games a week ago . Jada Harrison made it to state and so did Ace Strickland from Farragut . Ace was going to W. Virginia but a problem occurred and she is back on the market ? Looking forward to the next four days ! Long days but plenty of basketball to watch !

Velez only shot 2 of 6, made 9 of 11 free throws, with 4 rebounds, and had 8 turnovers.

Who’s the Stovall girl? She shot 6 of 10, with 15 rebounds, and 2 turnovers.

Also,
The Robinson girl made 5 of 8 3 pointers, with 5 rebounds, and 1 turnover.

Just saw PRG’s post, nevermind.
