I would prefer the Charlotte region because the staff recruits and gets a lot of recruits from North Carolina.

I’m seeing 8-6 Q1 record for us. They also have 1 more Q2 loss.

So we have 1 more Q1 win than them albeit a lower win percentage (also a H2H loss) and they have 1 more Q2 loss than us.

They also have a Q3 loss + a dog ugly loss tonight to 14-17 USC. We have nothing close to a bad loss.

Could see that. Quite the conundrum on the selection committee’s hands with how little stock they have put into conference tournies in the past.

Florida winning some games in the conference tourney could help. We need that to stay Q1 and I think it’s about to fall to Q2 with the Vandy loss.

UNC not jumping us - it’s close, but every metric - other than H2H - favors Vols - and that’s a whole lotta lovin.’ And UNC being on the committee is a detriment for them- people won’t want to be accused of cronyism.

If they beat Duke again and we bow out early, I bet they give them it. I don’t like going head to head with UNC for that last #1 seed since they have a h2h win over us. A win over MSU/Auburn would lock us in I would think.

Am I right that that the Committee may look at conference tourney games thru Saturday but has their bracket inked before the SECCG on Sunday? At least that's how it felt 2 years ago when they robbed us of the 2 seed & gave it to undeserving Duke.

Florida will likely fall from Q1 after losing to Vanderbilt today.

Other than Arizona losing, yesterday was pretty terrible.

We lost, UNC got a huge win, and Florida lost which dropped them from the top 30 so we lost a Q1 win

So it was between us and Arizona, and Arizona loses to a blah USC team. Suddenly because UNC beat Dukey they are ahead of us, because we lost to a ranked Kentucky team (after beating three ranked teams) That math don't add up to me.
