That’s insane. The Biden administration, possessing an inordinate amount of stupidity, handled the withdrawal as stupidly as one could possibly handle it, but this isn’t an eight year operation to get out of Afghanistan. It could have been done within the first year of Trump’s term. He didn’t do it. Get the Americans out. Get the equipment out. Get the soldiers out. Make it clear to the Taliban leadership that if it takes any weapons offered to it by Iran and uses them for terrorism against Americans that they’ll be wiped off the face of the earth. The end. That doesn’t take half a decade or more to do.

You can't do it that quickly is 4 years too long? Probably. He didn't get into office until 2017. He started the drawdown in 2019. That's 2 years to begin the process. Instead of giving him credit for getting them out, people criticize the timing, he didn't do it quick enough. People won't give him credit for anything. Just like yesterday, I made the claim that Trump had the most secure border in 20 years. Instead of giving him credit for that @BigOrangeMojo flipped the script and said well he didn't deport enough of them.

It is more nuanced and time consuming than just packing up and leaving. Trump initiated the agreement with the Taliban for the withdraw in 2020.

Yet Biden gets the credit for the leaving part and blames Trump for the chaos. Blame Trump and take the credit..seems common place.

I read some of that discussion, not all. To say the border was bad under Trump is preposterous. Sure, took time with Remain in Mexico, wall etc, but to compare Trump policy to being what isin effect an open border isnt close to truth. One can use statistics to point out any result, including documented, undocumented, apprhensions on US soil,the immigrants that were forced to RIM, etc.

Trump gets credit for nothing..amazing how things are distorted.

She has probably already gone into debate prep hiding over two weeks out.

She has cancelled additional debates. She is trying to change the rules for the Sept 10 debate. I think she hopes to personally attack Trump to rile him up, and butt in his remarks because they are making the calculation that sassy black woman remarks are positive.

I didnt flip no script. I stated numerous times his admin bowed to R business interests and didn't enforce existing rules to kick those out that was living here illegally...

It's you that couldn't follow along....
