The White House on Monday revealed who is running the country with President Joe Biden on his second week of vacation.

'You know better than that,' National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby scolded the reporter who asked who was running the country.

'The president is on vacation, but you can never unplug and from a job like that. Nor does he try to,' Kirby said in a zoom briefing with reporters.

'He's very much in command,' he noted of Biden.

He pointed out Biden spoke with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday and talked to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday as proof the president is working.

Biden, 81, is at his beach home in Rehoboth, Delaware, after spending a week at a private 8,000 acre ranch in Santa Ynez, Calif. He is scheduled to return to the White House after Labor Day weekend.

Vice President Kamala Harris is in Washington D.C. with nothing on her public schedule until Wednesday, when she heads to Georgia for a two-day bus trip to campaign in the state.

That was never the point. The point was a secure border. You couldn't give him credit for that and you immediately went to he didn't throw enough of them out. You 100% absolutely shifted the discussion. I never, never, never mentioned or gave him credit for anything other than securing the border. Perhaps you're the one that couldn't follow along.

Edit: and take some advice from an old mariner, when your boat is taking on water, plug the hole before you start bailing. 😉

Yet throughout my childhood, with manually counted paper ballots or punch card ballots, we usually had the results by 1 am. But now with fully digital voting machines and the ability to tabulate and send results in literal milliseconds, we don’t get the results for days sometimes????
Yeah, nothing at ALL suspicious going on for sure 🙄

I’ve seen Kamala present as cool, calm, collected, and incisive exactly one time - the Rad Kav hearings.

She really did come across as one tough, bad-ass bitch. Not to be effed with.

Where did that Kamala go? They should put her on a milk carton, and find her.

Because that Kamala would wipe the floor with Trump. This Kamala we are currently getting is not remotely impressive, or intimidating.

That 12M undocumented in the U.S. has been the same number for nearly 2 decades. Its kinda like the job creation number they put out every month.

When the same folks who are saying folks are a threat to democracy are lying, hiding and avoiding speaking to the people about their policies while commie state run media is giving them cover it ticks people off.
