This reparations thing would be impossible to do because by the time you get to 2024, people’s ancestry is everything and all over the place.. if Affirmative Action and quotas were not sufficient compensation, the time to have ‘made things right’ would have been in the 1800s or at the latest the 1940s.. we are too much of a melting pot at this point to do anything about it.. even if someone had paper proof that their fifth great grandparent was a slave.. guess what, you had thousands of other ancestors as well that likely had involvement in the other side of things… or had nothing to do with it at all 😂 Nobody is 100 percent anything when you do a DNA test.. a lot of families all over the place have blended somewhat either in the past or the present .. they are probably going to have to go to Europe if they really want people to foot the bill 😂 .. and as for the 1950s/60s.. the majority of us weren’t even alive then either 😂

Did she apply for them? I know several drawing a check today and really don't agree with it. Reparations at this point is a govt handout, but, if she is half Native American she should apply. Seems like the US govt waste a lot of money to make up for governing flaws.

She checked Native American on her FAFSA. I think that's the extent that she "took advantage of the government"....

And since son (barely) exceeds 1/4, did same thing for his FAFSA....

I know several that were receiving monthly/annual checks. Cannot speak to it currently, but I assume they still are. All are Cherokee Nation descendants that are receiving the checks. The amounts vary but they are all on a registry and still practicing there rituals. They are organized and I think that is one of the qualifications for entitlement. I don't disagree with this. As far as slave reparations go, I see no way to trace and track this on an individual basis and I would fear it draw groups that have no connection to slave reparations. Furthermore, it could serve as a springboard for other groups with ill intent.

Native American descendants getting reparations gets a little tricky because lots of Native American tribes had African American slaves or did awful things to people from other tribes. What do you do there?

Amongst several dozen "Guess what's" and endless variations of ""I'm not joking," "Not a joke," etc.), Biden implicitly endorsed murder of political opponents during his introduction of Harris in a Pennsylvania gathering yesterday. To the crowd's credit, they did appear a little puzzled and uncomfortable during the awkward exchange (although they did titter at his family joke at the end of his history lesson surrounding the Molly McGuires).

Biden is going downhill fast. He slurs entire sentences now like a runaway train about to derail. Standing a few feet away, Harris looks as though she's holding her breath in hopes that he won't totally melt down.

Biden is also swearing more and more frequently, another sign of lack of control. He came close to uttering the F-toddle when quoting his own "bid deal" exchange with "Barack."
