2024 Presidential Race

Could actually make a difference

And a dead fart could run everyone out of a room too. A lot of things could do a lot of things. 🙂

She is going to make an outstanding president. She is following in her fearless leaders footsteps. China Joe couldn’t hold a press conference because he had dementia. Toes Up or is it Toes Down or is it Headboard Harris (take your pick) does not hold a press conference because she is dumber than a rock. What is sad is, I am not being sarcastic or demeaning when I say that. She really is that dumb. She is going to be the leader of the free world. Question is. Who is dumber? Her or the people who voted for her.

A lot of people have book sense but lack common sense. That appears to be Harris. She attempts to sound like a great philosopher of our time to sound profound.

No, Trump has direct ties to Project 25, and they are well-documented. Those were not lies. Trump did not disavow Project 25 until it became politically unfeasible for him to defend.

.... and that is not the same thing as what Trump did on January 6th, anyway. That is a false equivalency you are drawing.

On January 6th, 2021, Donald Trump instilled his followers with the false belief that he not only still had a chance of retaining the presidency, but that this was only possible with their help. In theory, they needed to march down to the Capitol and disrupt the formal certification of the electoral college vote .... and in theory, this would allow for his alternate elector scheme to be set in motion. So Trump did, in fact, incite the violence which occurred at the Capitol that day. Neither the march down to the Capitol or the breach of the Capitol would have occurred without Donald Trump's election lies.
Show me the direct ties. The communist party usa supports harris and her policies. Does she have direct ties? from cpusa.org. "PEOPLES AGENDA
The 2024 election is a time of great risk and opportunity. The outcome of this election will determine the direction of our country and the daily lives of working people for years to come. That is why building the broadest unity possible and joining others in political action to defeat Trump and win progressive victories up and down the ballot is critically important.
A working-class victory in November would mean new opportunities to protect our planet better, increase workers’ rights, defend reproductive rights, defend and expand our voting and democratic rights, and so much more."

At one time, it was hard to avoid watching the MSM. The last few months not hard to avoid at all. What is really hard to avoid is stupid statements made by both candidates of which you don't need MSM comments. (spun & twisted). Use your brain not someone else's.

Flip off the TV, listening to music is an alternative. Sports as well and walk away during commercials. The fun part of life is watching the chaos going on here. Regardless of what I say it will be praised by some and chastised by others.
Regardless, one should not get caught up in any smoke being blown around by both candidates or their supporters.

Only way to avoid the BS is, this to stick your head up your backside or stick your head in the sand. Some prefer both. Volnation Politics is a spin zone, very tribal, very opinionated, and very entertaining.

Lots of posters cling to blow bys because it supports their candidate and think it is the truth. Lots of opinions based on blow bys and sound bites. It is people like you that contribute to the choice of two unfit candidates for the office of President. You can post anything you want and get a rant or praise and it can be true or false... Nice to observe how people run with stories that are untrue or based on facts that don't support their position.

Edit: Donald Trump watches 30 times more MSM than I do. Maybe you should give this advice to him, IOWs --- It will be ok, just back away from the TV, they don't know you like I do, and don't get your feelings hurt. Whatever you do don't comment on everything you see on TV and try taking the all CAPS off every once in a while. People think you are crazy when you do and say what your are. Are you a Republican? or a RINO. You need their support to get elected.
When I am on VN a lot like I am today, it is because I am home and I'm mostly trading options. I split my "TV time" between the conservative Fox business and the liberal CNBC. The one thing they have in common has been showing the absolutely disastrous and braindead proposals that the KH campaign is touting as being average Americans' best interest. I actually see very little about Trump other than the occasional rally speech which is kind of surprising since he is seemingly always on the campaign trail. Yeah I believe he is thin skinned, but so what? Is that in and of itself a disqualifying factor? Many on here talk of his lack of character. Kamala screwed Willie Brown for her appointment. How much lower does she need to go in order to get the same level of disgust as Trump? Knowing that, how do you think she will be received in the House of Saud? Or in Israel? Or Moscow? Will she be respected? I know I know... but Trump....

I don't know, or frankly care what Trump's TV regime is. And nothing you can say to me will 'hurt my feelings'. You have no effect on my life. The socialist idiot that the left is trying to install certainly will. Not one thing she is proposing is rational. Nothing.

Oh, and you never did answer my question. Where do you hear all these statements from Trump if you don't watch the MSM?

I can definitely understand people disliking Trump. Heck, I don’t particularly LIKE the man myself.
That said, I honestly don’t see how anyone with a working brain could ever think that voting for Kamala is a valid option. Bit requires an active decision on the part of Harris voters to disregard all those bought, logic, common sense, and intellectual consistency to even contemplate pulling the lever for Harris.
It is a willful choice to surrender to a world of make believe based on nothing but thoughtless emotion. It is the death of the ability to think and to judge.

I don’t think she has either. The only thing I give her credit for is that she realized early in her life that she was not going anywhere on her brains. So she used what she had. Apparently what she had was pretty good. It put her in the White House. Only problem is people with sense have to suffer due to the idiots that put her there.

Donald Trump's College Gameday Meal Revealed Ahead Of His Trip to Georgia-Alabama in Tuscaloosa

Donald Trump has demanded McDonald's, hotdogs and Diet Coke when he attends the college football game between Alabama and Georgia on Saturday night.

The former president is expected to take a break from the campaign trail and attend one of the most-anticipated games of the season in Tuscaloosa.

He supposedly wants two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches with cheese from McDonald's, pizza from Domino's, hot dogs from the stadium and plenty of Diet Coke.

Trump will be joined in his suite at the game by Alabama senators Katie Britt and Tommy Tuberville, ALGOP chairman John Wahl and friends and family of Mayers.

Trump's appearance at Saturday's game, which will be attended by over 100,000 fans, will come with heightened security after the two recent assassination attempts against him.

It will not be Trump's first time at a college football game. Last year he was seen tailgating with fans outside the Iowa-Iowa State game.

Trump was seen cooking burgers with fans outside before getting a huge ovation when he made his way inside the stadium. He was also present at the game between South Carolina and Clemson last year.

If he cheers for Alabama I am voting for Headboard Harris.

The question is: is it the twilight of the Roman Republic or the Roman Empire?

I think there would be a USA that comes out of the dust, what it looks like, I don't know. I think it is going to resemble more the collapse of the British Empire or others in that it will just fall a part Financially and not so much as wars.

FDR would be the most like Augustus in that scenario though. I personally think the USA government has gotten more heavily centralized since the New Deal, perhaps even the Civil War. Confederacy left for the wrong reasons and wasn't the "good" guys but USA became heavily more centralized and regulation heavy after the Civil War (it also saw the introduction of the Income Tax).

It will devolve into an authoritarian one party rule country with some outlier areas holding out. Either that or we Balkanize.

It's absolutely mind boggling to me. She offers nothing but tax tax tax tax and the usual class envy platitudes.

What is the point in announcing his attendance at this game?

Also, dude has the palate of a yak.
