Kinda indirectly makes my point. When one side oppresses and supresses the other, at some point you are going to reach a breaking point...
If it wasn't 1860, it would have been 1864, 1868, 1876, 1892, etc.....
North was going giving up power and the South was fed up....
I think it would have died on its own. Not every nation had to have a bloody fight, or even really a fight at all, to end slavery. as nations developed and technology advanced it became cheaper to employ a human to work a machine, rather than own a slave to pick cotton.Kinda indirectly makes my point. People don't vote VP .... and that's probably a good thing for Trump. JD Vance is a clown - who actually trashed Trump as much as anyone for years. Vance's new-found love for Trump is phony. The current polls still aren’t factoring in the VP debate. I realize it won’t be a huge bump, but I think Vance definitely helped his side.
And any level of a bump right now is huge given the close margins

Lincoln was never going to give up the power.

I know that Trump's policy towards Iran made no sense at all. He freed up their sale of oil, so he could freeze the proceeds a year later???? That was not going to be a permanently sustainable policy. Nothing was "given" to Iran. It was their rightful money from the sale of their oil - which Trump had allowed through a sanctions waiver. It was ridiculous. So if Iran had 2 billion earmarked for humanities and then gets a surplus of 6 billion...do you believe they are giving all 8 billion to humanitarian aid??? Your smarter then that
..it didn't go directly to the attack but it opened up other funds that were previously for humanitarian aid...but you know this.
It was a 6-month waiver to allow countries that were purchasing Iranian oil to re-source their needs from a different origin/supplier. In addition, it was designed to not immediately remove 1M bbl/day or Iranian oil from the market driving up prices for all.I know that Trump's policy towards Iran made no sense at all. For Republicans to say that Biden gave billions to Iran is so disingenuous .... This is when they benefit so much from having an ignorant base, that never questions the validity of anything they are told by Republican leaders. The proceeds from the sale of Iranian oil does not exist without Trump's 2018 waiver - and Republicans know that. They know they can get away with lying to their uneducated and misinformed voters, who blindly trust everything they are told.
