2024 Presidential Race

Just praying for the country.

Kamala was a weak choice. I dont buy that we cannot elect a female, moreover, a black female candidate.

The Country gave an evil person the keys to the car. So again, just pray that Trump truly has Country's best interests in mind. And not his own.

They have no choice but the shift towards the middle if they have any hopes of regaining control. Either that, or just hope that Trump has a disastrous 2nd term that encourages more people to register as Dems.

Shapiro would be the best candidate for them as of now.
There’s still too much antisemitism in this country to elect a Jewish president. IMO

She was not a good candidate. Would be interesting to speculate how a Whitmer, Kelly, or Shapiro would have fared, but it's academic.
Someone on CNN last night (and not the Republican guy) said he suspected the reason Shapiro wasn't asked to be VP was because when he got on the trail with Kamala people would ask "Why isn't he the nominee for President?"

I think that is is fair to say that any of those folks mentioned would have fared better than Kamala, since her performance appears to have been so, so bad, but I think any of them still would have lost. Perhaps not by the same margins.

Bullshat. He lost in 2020 and won last night.

Biden won in 2020 because the economy was in the crapper because of COVID...
explain all the shenanigans Dems pulled in swing states in 2020.......explain the statistically impossible graphs.

Mail in ballots in 2024 like 2020 yet Harris did not get anywhere near 81 million votes even though people could vote and not leave the house.

She has to be one of the worst political candidates of all time. Going to lose (again) in a red wave election.

Her performance last night should end her stolen election crap once and for all....

She was hated in 2022 and hated now. Hopefully people can finally see that with the blinders removed.

He's far too stupid to understand that messaging is precisely one of the reasons it didn't work for them this year.
Scolding and insulting their historical base is not a good plan for their future candidates. And I may be wrong here, but I don't think people make a distinction between an outlet like MSNBC and the people routinely on their programming and the Democrat Party or Democrat candidates.

Plus no one likes her. I knew Trump would dominate bc of that reason.
What Dems continue to not understand about Trump is that, yes, he is uniquely disliked by a chunk of the population but unlike candidates they've run (Hillary, Joe, Kamala) there is also a chunk of the population that absolutely adores him. It's rare in modern politics for a politician to have a base of support made up of people who genuinely like their candidate, and not simply hate the other one.
