IMO Putin will stop at nothing to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO and if Ukraine did join NATO article 5 would come into play so war would be inevitable.

Kamala needed an attack dog who could clearly articulate her policy. Walz wasnt it.

the economy was doing well under Trump...Trump handed Biden inflation under 2%.

Those Dem voters I was saying last night that stayed home never really existed. Harris got about 20 million fewer votes than Biden, so where were all those 20 million Dem 'voters' yesterday? Where was just half or just a third of these 20 million Dem 'voters' at yesterday? Biden got millions of phantom votes that Harris did not get because GOP did not allow for all the corruption in 2024....

Might as well discuss here.

My thoughts are simple. Putin cannot allow Ukraine to join NATO, that would be admitting defeat and the wasting of Russian lives and treasure for nothing so IMO an invitation to NATO just might push Russia to use weapons of mass destruction. How could he stay in power with such a defeat?

If Putin did use a nuke or biological/chemical weapon in Ukraine I think NATO would be compelled to join the war regardless of Ukrainian membership. NATO cannot allow the use of a WOMD on European soil to go unchallenged.

“Change” starts with an open mind.

That might actually just be the way forward for dumb people. I'm totally serious.

For smart people, change may start with analysis of a problem. But that's just my opinion.

I try not to talk in platitudes, ever, but sometimes a person can't help it. I think platitudes also are just for dumb people.

In this case, more importantly, I don't think congress, the senate, and the president will work together to change anything. I base that on the fact that they haven't done it before when they had the chance. Trump doesn't take any interest in some of the problems that would make a real difference. A really good example of that is the public debt. It's going to take adult discussion, I think, to decide exactly what to do about the public debt. Ross Perot said "it's unconscionable" when it was a tenth of the size it is now.
