Saw an interesting segment on Fox Business. A guy was theorizing what Trump 2.0 would look like. The subject of tariffs came up. He said the tariffs on Chinese goods turned out to not be inflationary at all. He said the Chinese government created export incentives to offset the tariffs. This is one area where I'd like to see Republicans improve their messaging. Hispanics and illegal immigrants are not the same thing. We (maybe I'm speaking for myself? IDK) are as opposed to illegal Europeans as we are opposed to illegal Mexicans. It doesn't matter what race a person is. I just want our government to protect the rights of its CITIZENS and stop spending money on people who aren't helping me fund the government. If you do not pay any taxes, you should not get government assistance. It's not about race it's about citizenship.

I don't think in '16 they had any expectation that they would lose so they didn't prepare. 2020 had Covid to exploit and had 4 years to prepare. I think the Republicans responded and watched them like hawks making it difficult. JMO
