Does this mean we have fair elections again? I can't help but notice that nobody is discussing how "rigged" the American democratic system of elections is this morning .... I haven't seen any posts about election security.

It does illustrate one point : You only whined 4 years ago .... because Trump lost.

See my post from last night. This is why. There was legitimate concern and attention brought to the matter.

I’m waiting for someone to chime in and chide those that cried foul in 2020 over voting irregularities and use tonight as proof that they were just crying wolf and it was sour grapes. Looking at the numerous articles posted in the “Proof of Election Fraud” thread, some not entirely true and many that were, I’m inclined to believe the number of lawsuits, investigations, charges filed against people, procedural changes, purging non citizens and others from voter rolls played a big roll in deterring attempts at interfering/tampering with this election. If nothing else, it at least drew a lot of attention to it and that we should never allow it to exist.

I was wrong, but we were not discussing polling. I was talking Trump winning the popular vote, which he did, but not the EC. Why you are bringing things up out of context from a post 3 weeks is odd.

You try to find a way to reduce the numbers between Biden and Harris. At the end of the day there will still be millions of missing Dem voters in 2024 from 2020

There will be some missing for sure. But most of this 15 million is easily explained in 3 items: CA not done yet, suburban shifts, and minority gains for DJT.

The rest is she was such a lousy candidate that her base didnt care, especially in non swing states (i.e New York, for example)....

Quite possibly. But if the end result is a Department that is politically neutral, wouldn't that be in everyone's interests?

The problem is, by and large people do not trust the Executive Branch departments. Even NASA is below 50% and that's a Department that's typically held in high regard.

The trash and inefficiency needs to be taken out. And what better President to do so than Trump?

haven't seen any real introspection from the Dems. Its all blaming someone else. You see the typical Democrat response from LG, it was the resentment class.
you see some denialism from BB, and luther. but no real admittance of faulty policy.
you get some of the rationalizations like huff is doing, people voting against their best interests, or from the media everybody else is racist.

there are a few tweets every once and a while. but no real ownership. not one of them questions their process, decision making, or policies. sure you get the throw away phrases from them, but they will quickly revert back to blaming someone else.

Well, I dont trust Rump. No. He's shown ONLY loyalty to those who kiss the ring, kiss his ass, or special interests. So, absolutely not.

In retrospect, Trump's handling of Covid contributed more to Trump's downfall in 2020 than anything. MSM's play on it was a big factor as well.
Because of Covid and the MSM's input, Trump should get a second go at it.
Another factor that I have often discussed and truly believe is that the Office of the President of the United States is not designed or built for a woman. I don't ever think that any of us will see a woman as President.

Trump is going to Trump and it may be the shake up that DC needs.
Some of the coattail riders may need to go but Trump maybe a wake up call if he follows through on some of his promises regarding immigration/economy and taxes. I still have concerns regarding economy and the markets as I feel that the markets is on stilts and the slightest of wrong moves may cause some problems. We will get through it.

The market is going to do what the market does which is to go up, down and sideways.
We are going to hear a lot of clamor regarding what happen during this election and my best advice is to believe nothing of what you hear/read and half of what you see.

Regardless, Covid screwed up his first Presidency and cost him the election in 2020. Some of you want to find the missing 15 million votes, well, spend the next 4 years doing so. That is the basic difference between a loser and a winner. Looking back and not forward.

Enough counting has happened that she's going to really underperform DJT

The majority of the vote counted so far is mail-in votes which favors the democrat. The election day voting which seems to be favoring her is what is outstanding so this race is going to tighten and far from over.
