2024 Presidential Race

The wealthy are ALWAYS going to grow their wealth faster than the poor. The weathy have the overwhelming majority of their assets invested, so they get a return. The poor are spending all their money on basic necessities and don't have significant (or any) investments. Liberals are incredibly dense to not grasp this simple fact.

I'm not suggesting otherwise. I just want the structure of the system we generally describe here to be the same, whether you have $100,000 in investments or $8,000,000,000 in investments.

That is 90% of leaders throughout history. We remember Julius Caesar more than Pompey or Alexander the Great more than Darius III. Let's agree to disagree but I would say nearly every academic article, poll from both sides of the aisle, etc. would align with what I am saying.

Of course they would because of peer pressure. Nobody associated with academia is getting a paper published that is critical of either or tells the truth about them.

Pollsters like Ann Selzer & Alan Lichtman weren’t wrong. The people are just stupid.

Thought this was a quality troll job lol -

“Starting on Day 1 President Trump and Vice President JD Vance will help to ease costs, secure the border, and protect Social Security for retirees like Ann Selzer,”

No, I did not say that either. What I actually AM saying is that our system allows the ultra wealthy to influence how they are treated by that very system. The tax code is built to carve out advantages for certain people.

LG I hate to break it to you but that is the case with every governmental system since the 1st one.

No, not at all. I'd be happy if their opportunity to make that, and spend it, and be taxed on it, was the same as someone who's 401k went up by $1,500 on the same day.

Yeah but the person who made $1500 wasn't risking millions/billions.

What does that even mean? You're almost as cryptic in your statements as Kamala.

Rachel Maddow is being mocked for her anti-Donald Trump monologue in which she warned the US was headed for an autocratic government after his resounding election victory.

The MSNBC star claimed that the voter turnout for the Republican president-elect was evidence Americans had 'let democracy go' and opted for, a 'strongman, authoritarian system'.

She likened the outcome to those seen in countries such as North Korea, Russia and China as she urged Democrats not to become, 'despondent'.

Lmao....crazy, deranged. Imagine the types that follow and listen to her.

Really after hearing her monologue, I'm beginning to wonder what other countries around the world the left has been lying about in this way. That is the bigger question.

Good grief the the comments on Reddit right now are in epic meltdown mode. And many of the hardcore leftists on there are clueless as to why they lost the election. They really think they need to run someone even more ultra left to win. It's pretty funny
It's something so stupid you could almost wonder if those aren't right wing people trying to make sure that's where the Dem ideology stays and R's keep winning.

Hope they do….same is happening on the networks. They really do not get it.

I hope not. According to you guys, he should make my life better.
You’re like a child. While being disciplined, children don’t often understand or see the benefit of it. But, in the long run, it’s in their best interest so that they don’t grow up to be idiots. This will be you for the next four years… it will make your life better in general, but you will kick and scream about it all because you’re a petulant child with little to no ability to acknowledge the need for common sense changes that the majority of Americans just voted back into the White House and Congress.
