Oh i'm not worried about shutting u up about that.... that's comes with in the next class or two 😉 On a serious note as long as we are winning (which i hope we will do this year and Big) that ceiling can stay on as long as the portal door stays wide open 😂

and i'm only teasin' i hope we bring in top talent from HS and the portal

I realize, but it's like the lottery. Until they call the numbers, you've got your shot.

Uh, not the 1.5 billion dollar lottery, to be clear. But, you know. A pretty big one all the same. Big enough they start reporting about it on the nightly news.

ya point taken and registered i suppose what i am saying is that...... once in a while you find a good biscuit in a garbage can but if you want to rely on the portal strategy to compete year in and year out with the best, you are going to get stuck on the starting line.

Clemson? Urf. I'm sure there's a backstory, but urf all the same.

I don't know what has been off about the Lady Vols high school recruiting these past years, but I hope they can get it figured out. The state produces a lot of talent relative to its footprint, enough that you could probably field a competitive team with players from Tennessee alone. Really need some of that top tier talent to stick around.

reminds me of a true story re Clemson (note I taught there once). before the NCAA rules had identified the recruitment issues overseas Clemson purchased nearly the whole national soccer team of Nigeria and won the 1984 Championship. and some of you might still believe NIL was recent. smile
