I think NIL is a factor in all of college sports for better or worse. I can see facing a team like LSU and SC, maybe they have some incredibly strong NIL prospects that are tough to compete with.

But I refuse to believe TN is getting out worked in NIL for wbb recruits to Clemson… bottom tier acc school who hasn’t been relevant in quite some time. That would be hard to believe

Agreed. Stirring the pot more than anything. What’s up with the relationship between her AAU coach and Clemson.

I don't know what has been off about the Lady Vols high school recruiting these past years, but I hope they can get it figured out. The state produces a lot of talent relative to its footprint, enough that you could probably field a competitive team with players from Tennessee alone. Really need some of that top tier talent to stick around.

For one a lot of these kids want 150k plus off the bat in NIL money. You can't give every kid that kind of money and quite frankly it's pay for play at that point. Also others in a player's camp gets kick backs too. We are gonna run a clean program and some aren't.

Going to have to keep an eye on what conference Stanford ends up in during this realignment now that the Pac-12 is caput. If they don't get picked up by one of the big 3 leagues, the recruits that want to play professional ball might start to question the decision to go there.

Transfer portal Bonanza! Doubt Stanford will feel the effect immediately. They’ve got a strong ass program backed by one hell of an institution and plenty of NIL dollars.

Those girls will get a top notch education, which is definitely worth it in its own right! But if I'm Tara, and my program ends up in Mountain West or something, I'd start thinking about retirement.

Some things are more important than championships. Her entire career has exhibited that. That will truly be the end of an era. Geno ain’t gonna be around much longer either. God Bless them. They were great for college basketball.
