2024 Recruiting Thread

I hope for Angel’s sake she does as well. I heard she got in trouble at Maryland for not going to class at times. She probably does the same at lsu. Idk how she has time for her studies with all the NIL circus, that’s a lot to balance.

I saw Alexis Morris just graduated yesterday. Four colleges later, I’m happy she is at least leaving with a degree. Basketball won’t last forever unfortunately so it’s good to come out of college with an education and a skillset built to peruse things outside of sports when the time comes. Sadly a lot of football and basketball players go into college not with that mindset but just only to go to the pros mindset
Schools not for everyone

What say ye VA_VOLFAN? Smart cookie if coming from Sidwell Friends.

Heard she is a nice kid and yes smart cookie! She made a name for herself this passed year and her ceiling is VERY high! We could take both she and Da Silva as forward/posts. She can be the type of defender to cause havoc too. Super athletic and quick. I really want her... But that's just me 😬

Really quick for 6'4" she can run the floor and has a lot of moves around the basket. She is far more skilled than Da Silva at this time and is the kind of player that is more that just a post. Haven't seen much on her perimeter shooting, but her speed around the basket makes her tough to guard.

Socka-Nguemen plays with an activity level that has her in the discussion as the highest stock-riser of the class in the spring. She has always been a major presence in the paint and played hard, but she has started to couple that intensity and motor with better finishing skills. At the latest EYBL stop, she averaged 13.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks. She changes shots in the paint, attacks the glass and is there for the dump-off pass and finish. The scary thing is there possibly is more potential to be realized in her game with added post moves and even more face-up game.
She debuts in the rankings at No. 43, and do not be surprised if she continues to rise throughout the summer. Her offers include: Mississippi State, Kansas, Michigan, Maryland, Boston College, Northwestern, Harvard, Penn State, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Rutgers, Louisville, Georgia Tech, Auburn and Tennessee.

👀Looks like Kellie may have reeled someone in

I love pre-season when the girls unite after the summer and enjoy being with each other. For us, its one more month until tip off. Who's gonna start, who is healthy again, what is our schedule and who will we be playing OOC. It's a great time of the year for us and November can't come soon enough. For Tennessee players, for UConn players, for all WBB players my wish is for all to be healthy throughout the season to do what they do best and that's representing their school to the best of their abilities. I wish them all well and lets just enjoy another great WBB season. I can't wait.

Harris is a 6'1" wing from Florida in the class of 2025. ESPN has her as the #51 recruit in that class.
What a great pickup she would be very underrated player. Hard to believe there are 50 players better in that class. She is 6'1" but because of her length plays more like a 6'4" player. 76 inch wingspan she is tough to stop inside very quick and athletic. That would make 2025 another step toward being an elite class. I think she moves up in the rankings quickly. Would be delighted if she was committing to Tennessee. One thing that stands out about our recruiting lately is that were going away from the big slow bulky players to the ones with speed and length. I think that is great to see.

I read she’s only been playing basketball for 2 years. Switched from tennis to basketball. Her ceiling is through the roof!
