The NIL is a game changer ! I'm hoping some of these people around UT get it together and it isn't our coach either! It's some others who don't want to let ... Naw nevermind. Go Lady Vols

It is my understanding that international student athletes are not eligible for NIL

Evidently, like South Carolina, they sell a lot of tickets at a very low price and/or a lot are just given away.

correct which is why that post was geared toward the post on Sarah Strong not Da Silva.

But in doing some research I believe they can get some sort of NIL when it comes to their own home country? Like if they did appearances when they went home or something ...

LSU actually averaged slightly under us for the season. Remember they weren't predicted high in preseason and who wanted to buy season tickets to see all those games against the worst of the worst teams. Their attendance picked up a lot toward the end of the season but could not make up for the earlier games.

i would think they'd pick up some... but Kim dropped the ball not bringing in a big name or two to play her team this season

It is my understanding that international student athletes are not eligible for NIL

They can receive NIL. But on a student visa, they cannot perform work in the US. It’s a silly law but an old one and the work around is to do the “work” such as adds while outside the country for US sponsors, etc.

I wish Sarah strong could visit us, seeing her in the 3v3, she’s a game changer. Rumor around she is leaning towards lsu, visited this summer and going back for another visit next weekend.

One thing to remember is this staff is not going to make empty promises just to land a player. tk could h3 back next year and we'd still have jill and karo too. Va tech has no one in front of her.

This staff gets played way too much. They can't or don't recognize who is serious and who is just taking the trip..

The girl who committed to N.C.played us like a fiddle. Multiple trips, wined and dined, tickets to the Alabama game. All the while she knew she was staying instate. Someone on the staff should have sniffed her game out!!

Oh trust me she was very good at texting and staying in communication with our coaches ... BUT that's a good point on sniffing out her tactics which i think might have gotten some people associated with her knocked down the recruiting list ...

Ok.....one player.. Kellie has been played by several players. For example the UConn commit. She was ours until the flight home. Her 2nd maybe 3rd visit. The N.C. girl..

A major one is starting and playing time. Some coaches are willing to make that promise to kids ... Some are not...

I think the young lady just felt more comfortable with VT players.When I looked at the pictures of schools when she visited I felt like the team from VT was more closer to her makeup and that’s why I felt she would go to VT. I was hoping I would be wrong by her choosing the LV but my gut said VT when someone posted the 4 visits.
