If for whatever reason we miss on or can’t get Gayle to visit, I’d love to go after Indiana State transfer Ryan Conwell, freakin baller. Will only be a junior.

Had a DD against Bama with 3 steals.
Had 16/5 against Michigan St.

And prior to that, the record holder was Helton, who played 3 years and was a full time starter/star as a freshman. Burke/Moore platooned at DH as freshmen.

Nothing revelatory here, but the top of the staff priority list is a combo who can score and run backup point too. Lanier and Roddy fit. Next is a long wing or four who can shoot threes. Finally they are seeking a complimentary set of two bigs. The shape of that will follow what Tobe decides. That continues to be hopeful, but not done. I think we’ll hear about that today or tomorrow. Tyson is also supposedly reporting back by eod day tomorrow. No news there means he’s visiting UNC. I still put us as the leader either way. They have a crowd at that spot and too many unknowns. He had a great visit and I think it’s still likely he’ll just announce he’s coming, but that’s me guessing.

So we are hoping for 1 of Roddy/Lanier, Awaka return, Milicic or the MTSU big, and then hopeful that Tyson sees the light. That 4 spots and I think we can have 5? Still think we take a flyer on the African big man?

Seems like Dubar doesn't fit where we thought he would.

Not quite athletic enough to run backup point. He was smaller than advertised closer to 6'5" than 6'8" so he's not really the long wing or four who can shoot threes (where he was hopefully going to fit in originally) and he's for sure not a big.
