2024 Transfer Portal Thread

If Chaz likes cookies and reportedly may be working a cookie store NIL, we may just have to name him "The Cookie Monster!" Maybe his NIL agreement would be a free cookie for the first 100 people to come into the store the next day anytime Chaz scores 25 or more points in a game. The "Cookie Monster" might become a crowd favorite!
No.

I just asked a question. You're saying we have a backup plan, BTO kinda insinuating a short roster is possible. I'm not sure coaches have figured this chaos out yet personally.
I think Barnes is considering a few other players. At the end of the day, I don’t think anyone knows what’s going on with Chaz.

Going to be interesting to see how things unfold following Lanier’s visit. We know we are not offering as much $$$ ans UK, but is our $$$ offer competitive enough for him to be willing to take less than what our competitors are offering? Do his agents go back to UK and BYU to use his great visit at UT as leverage for more money? How much will his handlers ultimately influence his decision? Lot of possibilities on this one. Coin flip.

None of this is confirmed and I highly doubt it to be. A lot of Johnny Shmoe’s out there.

It’s been us from the beginning. We already had a handshake deal in place before the NCAA changed the rule on grad transfers. After that his agent saw dollar signs. Maybe Kentucky had a chance for a minute if the visit/offer really blew him out of the water. The rest has been posturing from his agent to secure more money…which probably ended up being successful.

Not a whiff by the staff but not in the lead after the visit lol
Some Cat fans seem to be interpreting that seemingly paradoxical statement as…they’re not in the lead after Laneir’s visit to Lexington, but the coaches, if they’ve missed on Laneir, didn’t whiff because they believe they have an inside track on other desirable recruits and that maybe the money they’ll save on Laneir can be well invested elsewhere. Might make some sense actually.
