This is a great hire for A&M for next year. Time will tell long term. Risky IMO.

It’s a good hire for next year, because they’ll keep arguably the most talented roster in the country together in Year 1 for Earley. But if they underperform, it’s definitely going to be risky long term. I think Year 1 with all that talent will be so important.

I just assumed with Curley likely shifting to 3rd if you couldn’t get Grahovac you just stay put but fair point. He’d be a nice pickup for sure.

Get some of the older guys back (Causey, Combs, etc.) then you add in the freshman guy we’re bringing in (3-4 of those dudes already throw mid to upper 90s)

Curley or Fischer would have to play another position or DH. But that would’ve been true with Grahovac too. Maybe Fischer is willing to play OF, Curley 3B and Killeen at SS or 2B (with AA at the other spot).

My philosophy is you can never have too many good players. Look how badly we needed a DH all season lol
